So currently I dnt have the VO set or maelstrom weapons. I'm running robust agility jewelry 5 hundings 2lekis and 2 validreth/2kragh. So I'm thinking maybe I should do 3 viper jewelry, chest and legs, 2night mothers gaze swords/or daggers,hands,feet and belt. And my monster set validreth2 piece or kragh 2piece all divine. What do u guys think? This will be until I'm able to acquire maelstrom and VO jewelry and gear. This could be my pve/pvp gear to

2x kragh 5x leviathan 5x red mountain
2x kragh 5x leviathan 5x hulking
2x kragh 5x leviathan 5x tbs
2x kragh 5x leviathan 5x NMG
2x kragh 5x leviathan 5x spriggan
Those are your best options without VO or msa weps.

Viper is terrible in pve compared to other sets. Its good in pvp but thats an entirely different scenario. Look at the builds I posted earlier. Anything else will put u far lower in dps.

If you are looking to replace the sustain given by vicious ophidian, marksman offers 8% cost reduction and 2 regen stats and comes in weapons and jewellery, mixed with viper and velidreth would be good enough to get through vma without sustain issuesPS4 EU CP900. PS4 NA CP600,

✭✭NMG seems a little bit better than Hundings to me. I liked the TBS but couldn't make it work with monster helm and VO. VO and Viper worked good, but couldn't fit in monster set there either so I used 2 Hundings Daggers lying around.
Get yo butt over to stone falls and start farming like everyone else trying desperately to get the red mountain. Seeing good difference being able to use 2 x 5 piece sets and monster set.
I used NMG/Agility/Monster for long long time.
Getting the right weapons is gonna be a big problem with any of the drop sets, so try to work in crafted set.0 -

I agree with your sustain build, having regen and reduction results in lower damage and thats when proc sets really help a lot (cause of no scaling). Viper probably works, but red mountain is superior to it by a large margin in almost every combat situation, thats why I won't agree on viper being a good set. As I said I'm on console so don't have addons/numbers to back it, but I tried Kra'gh (I think at your suggestion in another thread @LEGENDARYYY) and it felt like a pretty substantial DPS loss on my Imperial stam sorc. Maybe it's situational? Single target vs. multi-target, maybe it's my build, but all I know is that I can solo Craglorn anomalies with Skoria and not even get close with Kra'gh.0 -

Stam sorc - Stormfist in pve or Sellestrix. Krags tbh I don't rate at all. I just don't see the damage with it. Veli I love it. Love seeing it wipe something out for 25k+

✭Khajiit agrees with the Harbinger about Stormfist. As a Stam Sorc you have a passive that buffs physical and shock damage, which is all Stormfist is. It procs (A LOT) and gives good damage numbers.

LEGENDARYYY✭✭✭✭You can listen to me and pull 35k+ single target unbuffed without VO or msa weps , or you can listen to others and do lower with viper. Up to you in the end.
The fact that ppl dont see damage from kragh is mind boggling to me as I increased my vMSA score by 10k once I slotted it.
I do not have hard numbers but I have all stam gear in legendary, tested it all and I pull 40k single unbuffed on my stam sorc with kragh, red mountain and VO. I pull ~40k single unbuffed on my stam dk with kragh, leviathan and hulking aswell.
I'm also top30 (former top15) in vMSA on my stam sorc, which means I must be doing something right and have some clue in terms of builds right?

only few warhorns and SPC as group buffs, no more debuffs to boss like alkosh, minor vulner etc
5x hunding (tested tbs and no any difference with no using msa duals)
5x viper on jewerly and duals
master bow and 2x krag

more exp friend told me nmg is better in dungs etc if nobody else have it because bonus from it dont stack, also if you are running solo, for example msa hundings is also better because you have instand dmg better on trash before reducings this armor
