It doesn't really answer my question. Does the 5 piece bonus proc with Jabs or just flares and radiant destruction?

channeled ability is anything that takes time to do the ability, so jabs, radiant destruction as you asked, as well as skills like snipe, wrecking blow, soul ultimate, ect.

For pve it's kind of a loss since soulshine is all heavy,unless you have 3 jewels,1 wep,one armor pc. But to maximize undaunted passives you need one pc medium.

It works with jabs, dark flare, Soul assault, the healing from purifying light and Jesus Beam. a mate told me otherwise ,so i did test it and its great

Lol it does not work with Biting Jabs, that is a stam move and uses weapon damage to calculate its damage, it does work with Punchering Strikes and Punchering Sweeps, as those are magic moves and use spell damage.

I've converted to Soulshine since 1T has gone live on my MagPlar, and have no regrets. It's absolutely amazing, and feel almost made specifically for MagPlars.

Scathing mage is a bad set for Templars. While it procs off jabs, it does not proc off RO so it would be a significant drop in DPS.

Burning spell weave may be good as long as blockade is kept up during execute.

Soul shine as long as only one armor piece to be able to keep Undaunted passives.

It is possible to have both Burning spell weave and Soul Shine. Soul Shine 2 jewelry, 2 swords and 1 armor. Burning 4 armor and 1 jewelry. Grothdar to finish this out and staff is still available. I think those pieces would fit together Fine.

Probably still best to keep blockade up during execute but block case putting it out to get back to sword bar for RO.
