Short video of my group roaming ad territory, somehow we found a dc small man @Manoekin .
@God_flakes not sure how many videos its going to take to show you that dc and its guilds are not constantly outnumbered and don't mind zerging anywhere they go. This video is sort of me joking around but every faction zergs and doesn't mind zerging so stop being delusional.
Not sure why my opinions as a player are so upsetting to you that you feel the need to insult me personally but ok. If you've got a video of DC blobbing up in a tight ball of 24-40 spamming healing and ults and running around a gate with no real objective....I'd love to see it. Otherwise I'm not real interested in your video.
The first senetence was towards you, the second was to the dc players who insist they are outnumbered, dc guilds don't zerg, and whatever else didn't mean to target you personally so I apologize. I tagged you because you are the most vocal about this issue. I'm not upset at all if people want to zerg go ahead that is fine with me, I just don't see the reason to come on the forums and whine about it when others do it.
There are many times DC is absolutely outnumbered. I'm sure all three factions have times they feel like this, but it does seem to happen to DC more often. Case in point my "really Ad" thread where for hours DC had one bar and Ad had three and they pvdoored the map. Any time I play weekends i keep a close eye on the population and DC hovers right around 3 bars while the other two are poplocked. It isn't until prime time that we seem to ramp up to a lock and even there there is rarely a queue. I realize this is anecdotal but I've played for nearly 3 years and trust my own judgment at this point.
Guilds DO zerg. All three sides. I'm not saying DC doesn't zerg. What I am specifically griping about is the "blobs" where two guilds or more are stacked on top of one another and running around simultaneously at gates up and down the stairs, in wave formation, like zombies with no real objective and spamming healing and aoe and rolling over DC in ones and twos. It's idiotic gameplay. Now before you lecture me about the fact that I can't change how people play the game, I am a big girl and realize this, I am merely stating my frustration with blobbing which has been prevalent for 3 years. And the fact that the game rewards that is what irritates me the most.
Of course, DC groups are outnumbered from time to time (well who isn´t). But from my experience, you see a small DC group around and kill them. The next there is a couple more DC. In case they died they will bring their zerg. Funny that you still remind of your fail thread where it was legit the first days after 1T when all DC were absent on the prime time for 1 night. Wonder how much the situation has changed since then. The Oceanic times DC outnumber quite often and most likely the blue zerg from Azura is moving to TF. When you combine Azura´s pop locked Oceanic zerg to TF you will know what zerging is. DC population is higher than ever and it is a myth that they are always outnumbered. These DC forum warriors get some satifaction for playing the part where they are victims but in reality they are the ones benefiting from numbers. The old times DC who fought outnumbered is gone. I can still respect many of them but they either quit, some play different factions and games. Sure I know there are some good Dc still playing but they seem to be absent from the forums chitchat. Lastly, if someone who is a known zerger starts to lecture about zerging you know it is beyond rational conversation.
Whoa whoa calm down with all the snark and anger!!! Fail thread? It was a thread about a specific guild at a specific time doing what I consider to be garbage pvdoor. Get over it, dude.
I never mean to imply DC are "victims" in any of my comments. After all they won the last two campaigns and likely will win this one. I think some of you just flat out don't read my comments, you knee jerk with your condescending insults and jabs at me...and why is that? I make specific references. I'm no different from any other person commenting here l-I'm not going out of my way to *** you off or upset you so for the love of God calm down.
At least I check my facts something you are not doing.
DC rarely, if ever, outnumber AD during Oceanic times. Not sure where you are getting your facts. In general, AD has always been at least one bar higher than blue. But regardless of numbers, fights between yellow and blue have been fantastic. So no complaints from me. If anyone needs love, it's red. They drift between one and two bars.
I am only talking about TF. So apologies if you are including Azuras. They do have a large Oceanic presence. But they aren't on TF yet.
Bars are a good indicator of population levels guys.
And yesterday and the day before the roles were flipped because there were more DC pvping than AD.

I've never known Crown to lie.
Crown is allowed to exaggerate. During PST primetime I think the queue got into 60-70's at the highest. It was a particularly popular night to play I guess, most of which had to do with players entering PvP early to try and dethrone then not leaving like they usually would. DC had a long queue that day as well if the DC players in my guild chat are any indication to go by.

My sympathy meter doesn't budge for people who have had emp again and again and again and again. We have all been kicked out and unable to get back in. Why is it worse for someone who has had emp for the 500th time? Both of them will get emp again, I'm sure.

Bars are total population inside Cyrodiil/IC.
NOT total population PvPing.
You're right I don't play during oceanic times, but I do log on because I work early in the AM my time. Thus I am actually able to see how things have gone while I was away. Based on my screenshots you have one of three options. Well, only one option because you claim bars are a great indicator of how many people are PvPing. Thus I am only to conclude that oceanic AD absolutely *** on oceanic DC in TF, since both bars are equal and AD owns the map. It can't possibly be that DC shows 2 bars but does not have that many out there trying to defend and take back keeps because that is not how the population bars work.

Why doesn't the game kick out veteran players who have PvPed over and over and over in Cyrodiil and make room for new players. Surely it's not a new experience, and they will get to play again.

Good point...and it can be turned around on you. DC can show a poplock with half our population in the IC, while Ad has 3 bars and is owning the map because the majority of their population is up top. This is the reason so many have demanded they separate the two populations. It's very hard to gauge at times, and why I say only official enrollment numbers would resolve this never ending feud.

Why doesn't the game kick out veteran players who have PvPed over and over and over in Cyrodiil and make room for new players. Surely it's not a new experience, and they will get to play again.
Being a bit dramatic aren't we? As if the game *deliberately* kicks people out for *reasons*. We all have suffered the prime time server drop and inability to load back in. Usually I log and go do the vast endless other activities life has to offer to find pleasure in.
Why is it somehow worse when an emp gets unceremoniously kicked from the server? Because Emps are so special? Come on nah.
DC can zerg quite hard, along with the rest. And with the exception of a brief period of time between NM retiring and VE rerolling, they always had groups that stacked, followed crown, actually accomplished things in Cyrodiil, etc.
Strange conversation overall.

Mano. You barely play Oceanic time. But you are right. Bars are good indicators. So if you play night after night during Oceanic time, you would know that what I've said is true. We continually check the bars. That may change in time. Who knows? But don't know why you guys are trying to argue the point.
Bars are total population inside Cyrodiil/IC.
NOT total population PvPing.
You're right I don't play during oceanic times, but I do log on because I work early in the AM my time. Thus I am actually able to see how things have gone while I was away. And I agree. However, when the bars are even and DC is controlling the map all I ever see is posts about how good DC is, but when AD controls the map it's because they outnumber DC. It's the equivalent of the dueler mentality where if I win it's because I'm skilled, but if you win it was only because of cheese.A dramatic summarized re-telling of this pointless thread

Yes, that is why the Emp mechanic exists in this game.
Regardless getting kicked from the server isn't the issue really. It's two new bugs with this patch that people have taken issue with. But you ascribe to the belief that bugs in this game which literally prohibit others from playing the game are OK because it happened to people you don't like. It's a real huge mystery why people don't like you and leave you apparently.

What's strange is the apparent inability of people to differentiate between zerging and mindless blobbing and guild teamwork. It is mind boggling to me that after all this time seemingly intelligent people can't admit there is a difference.

Yep, you want people to get out of guilds, out of teamspeak, out of coordination, and just run around like WWZ.
The fact that you call "blobbing" "mindless" probably says more about how you ran an NPK raid lol.

If you want to kill this games PvP for good please encourage ZOS to discourage guild organization tactics.
You can very easily measure player activity in PvP by the amount of active guilds. Think about how many PvP servers were full and running a year ago. How many guilds were running then? A heck of a lot more than there is now. The level of coordination, community ties etc, all that come from guilds is what keeps eso PvP still engaging for many many players. Myself included.
If could pick one thing for ZOS to focus on it will be creating a positive environment that nurtures new guild growth. Doing aanything to maker it harder on what guilds remain to coordinate is a really bad idea.

Some interesting things from this clip…
- People complaining about taking each other’s siege in zone chat.
- Half the people sieging are missing the door.
- The other half is using fire trebs.
- The keep has a token defense maybe 10 defenders vs 60+ Zergers.
- Mindless Zerging in all its glory.
- People recognizing in chat that this is overkill.
- Keep defenders thinking they will win by being 1 click heroes.
- Everyone is light attacking everything. They didn’t have the Proc sets yet, but their bodies were ready.
- No lag. Pretty easy to see why.

Let's be honest here, who really wants to run all the way across the map to take a resource for the sake of "small scale" just to be procd to death? Let's all just stack on Alessia bridge and embrace our togetherness.
