First and foremost, we all take border security with the utmost of a serious expression on our faces, and no one at the Ash gate had tourist visas to enter Dominion lands. If you don't have papers, you get proxied upon.
I don't think I saw Dominion Knights on last night; I believe that Dominant Dominion showed up at the gate at one point, for the same reason that all the blue people did: there were swords at the gate, and they wanted to rumble. You really think anyone picks up the banana phone and goes bleep bloop bloop rrrrring rrrrring HEY MAN HOW'S IT GOING? HAHA, SAME. LISTEN, YOU WANNA STACK GROUPS TO FARM PUGS?
The answer is no; nobody types that up while auto-running toward a gate on their horse, that's insane. But we're also not going to yell at our allies to take a hike, because we're not enormous jerks who hate friendship and also there's no real reason for them not to be there. It was like 1am, nothing was happening at anyone's keeps, and everyone just wanted to fight. We play the map 90% of the time, and if we don't get to kick back and relax at a scenic gate now and again, we all get ulcers and our insurance spikes up.
It's the same situation as the Alessia bridge -- people go and fight there because it's a lot of fun to go and fight there, and both sides can respawn nearby very easily. Nobody is forcing anyone to fight at a gate or a bridge, and many people are happy to find a nearby fight in progress that has absolutely nothing at stake for them. If you feel like you're being farmed, you always have the option to leave.God_flakes wrote: »Yesterday and last night was nauseating. I think both AD and EP Factions "spamballs" spent most of the time fight each other last night and it was ton of fun!Lot's of good close fights
Agreed!Aleswell late last night with Fantasia unable to repair (or unwilling XD ), EP and DC balling in, was great fun, minimal lag, literally people fighting all over the place.
Earlier on it was a bit messy and laggy up at the farm, but that fort fight was one of the best going for a long time.
Haha, thanks! We loved that fight too. And yeah, we had time to repair, but just wanted to leave the walls down. Zheg's idea. It was late at night for us, and we wanted to have a really good fight before we went to bed. Forcing people to siege it down felt like... Well, the late American comic Mitch Hedberg had a joke about buying a doughnut: "I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut; I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I'll just give you the money, and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this."
Siege just felt like bureaucratic nonsense at that point, an unnecessary middleman, a receipt for a doughnut xD

No one is forcing DC to take 40+ to undefended keeps. No one is forcing EP to do that either, but you both keep doing it like at Black Boot and Bloodmayne last night. I don't even know what you mean by PM running around up north. I don't think they even know how to get to Chalman they barely ever control it.
You're right that it sucks though. The game really shouldn't be like this. People are so afraid of losing in a video game that they will gather as many people as possible and just zerg the *** out of anything that moves. If your one group of players isn't good enough to beat the other group you have more options than just stacking more players.
40+? Come on now. I was running with Saramis's group Friday/Saturday night and never at any point did we have 40. We took Brindle (several times) and BB with 12-13 and when we lost at Brindle we simply waited and then came back. The only time I see DC stacking those numbers is to defend. You know, like when FantasiaDominionKnights blob run around Ash like the zombies in World War Z.

What? All of those DC were there taking that keep, not defending it. You can see that clearly in the video. If you need further proof you can watch the full length version. I don't even show in that video the group of DC outside the front door engaging the group I was in. I've never seen a group more afraid to engage in a siege where there are actual players there to defend. I'll highlight this when I get off work, but in one of the videos Saramis literally runs in a triangle between nikel, roe, and brindle and sieges none of them because he sees players there. This goes on for something like 5-10 minutes where my group of 3 just followed him on mounts being amused at what we were seeing.

I can assure you that any time DK and Fantasia end up at the same spot its by pure chance. Both guilds have very experienced group leaders who can read a map and know where their groups need to be. I can only speak for myself. I do not call out where my group is going and I do not speak with other group leaders. This is not the best situation for the faction as a whole however it is the best way to teach a group to be self reliant. We either win or loose but its on our own as a group without the Type A ego's that plague PVP guilds.
Just so we are all on the same page.......I have never been crowned EMP (sorry dont have the time to PVP for myself and oh yeah father of 3 with a job sorry dont have time to invest in a game like that; It's ok if you do though.) I lead groups because it's fun. I can laugh just as hard when we wipe or when we win. I don't tell players how they should play. I suggest what seems to work best and encourage them to explore different styles. People who run with DK typically are the more causal players who simply want to be with a good ADULT group. I'm happiest when I'm teaching. Go figure right, a college professor who wants to teach. Oh and finally, you don't have to like me, In fact you can hate me, but in the end, I'm gonna be me with or without you.
Enjoy your Monday....

you run your groups, and ep has: haxux, invictus, pact militia; ad has kinghts/fantasia/telel; dc has its own groups that run at certain times - but whats different about DC is that its literally mostly pugs - and you guys know this
so when you get your raid or 2 lined up for Ash and you flag it, ALL the pop lock AD/EP go there
the other *** part of this PvP is farm groups - its absolutely FINE if you take a resource - its absolutely ridiculous when a full raid of AD comes out to take back a resource (or EP for that matter)
you guys have really no leg to stand on when trying to call out DC for zergballing because both of your factions are constantly doing it
and DC is to blame for this as well, I sat for 3-4 hours yesterday in Zone asking people to do something on the map even join and try to take a resource or something here and there, unfortunately, farm groups prevail and people go where there are crossed swords
whether you guys communicate or not doesn't matter, your faction sees *** on the map and follows
whats worse and runining PvP for any new player is when both EP and AD push DC, its bad enough - but I don't want to make it sound like its OK when AD/DC or EP/DC do that too, PVP door is terrible
you guys have played long enough to know when population and good people play already, there is absolutely NO reson to turtle up at Glade with 1000 people and start hunting down DC players before they can even get to a resource flag, that's just ***
half the time the ONLY reason you are winning is because you have numbers and THATS IT
I don't want people to think that I'm QQ'ing or anything like that, I'm not salty about anything, I know people play when they play and they try to do what they can when they are on - my play time is mostly primetime and all weekend for example, it is what it is
just try to be a little easier

Short video of my group roaming ad territory, somehow we found a dc small man @Manoekin .
@God_flakes not sure how many videos its going to take to show you that dc and its guilds are not constantly outnumbered and don't mind zerging anywhere they go. This video is sort of me joking around but every faction zergs and doesn't mind zerging so stop being delusional.

You have PM running around up north spamballed up and you've got Dominion Knights and Fantasia (both always holding one another's hands) spamballed up to the south-usually at Ash gate being stupid. Both factions had a poplock all day against 3 bars of spread out DC, yet both still feel the need to run around in their security blankets and sucking their thumbs all rolled up together. Smfh. I hate that pvp has come to this. Nobody really even fights. It's one ball versus another ball. And most DC hate balling up but are forced to in order to combat the insane zergball mosh pit.
Speaking of farming pugs.....how did you guys like getting farmed at the lower entrance at Ash gate? @fastolfv_ESO How much Ap did you end up making there? <snicker>
Probably about 400? You don't get ticks at the gate, so I don't think us leaving once we got bored was a major AP windfall for him.
Every faction has the same problems, and a lot of people in a faction think the other two factions don't have the same problems. What you described, your experiences as a DC player, are the same experiences you will get as an AD or EP player.

Every faction thinks they are outnumbered, and just so you know invictus has not been even running groups for over a month. We have gotten groups over 10 maybe 3 times in 1 month, I haven't been on much but I'm not sure if haxus has been running often also. I would say AD is a bit more guild heavy but not really, the idea that all of dc is pugs is a lie and an excuse you guys tell yourselves. On top of having guilds DC also has a strong oceanic guild so you make a lot of points during the off hours, so please stop playing victim.

Not me. I LOVE facing the challenge of killing them and dishonoring, c-slamming and dancing on their bodies. I have missed seeing Ernie lately actually.

It was hilarity on a level I haven't seen in months. I can't remember the final tally but we each netted no less than 15-20k. Not bad for just standing there and spamming aoe and sipping my whiskey as the ad ran in and died and ran in and died. I'm not a fan of farming that way but when ad is throwing their bodies at us who are we to deny them their desired deaths?

Not sure why my opinions as a player are so upsetting to you that you feel the need to insult me personally but ok. If you've got a video of DC blobbing up in a tight ball of 24-40 spamming healing and ults and running around a gate with no real objective....I'd love to see it. Otherwise I'm not real interested in your video.
