Lol I'm always under 100k in-game so when I'm sitting at 40k that's good not sure what low is but I think I'm always low based on what ppl sale stuff for.

20-50-100k motif prices are too rich for me.

Considering I've only ever broken 100k gold ONCE in my 1 1/2 years of playing, low is like, 5k for me...

Same here, I maintain 1 mil, working on 2 since I figure I'll need some bank for housing.

Yes. If I fall below 3,000 I work to make more (I wouldn't call it worry). I've never made more than 50,000 before, though, so I guess I'm always poor.

Nope, I can easily pull in 30k plus a day just banging around doing a few writs, harvesting and refining some nodes, and a bit of questing.

Money is shockingly easy to come by around here.

Same is true in life - except for the 30k a DAY part...

haha. that's the thing. At one point, you feel broke when you have below 100k. Later, you feel broke when you're under 500k. Then it's 1 mill. Then 2 mill. Then 5 mill. Uncanny.

I sell looted set gear etc. Rarely sell mats because I rather save them for future use. I honestly have no reason to spend gold so saving is somewhat easy.

I'm on a constant poverty-streak, the most I've ever had in my hand was 75k. Then I spent it willy nilly on useless things just because I could.
I re-spec a lot, trying to play with builds and all, so at any given time my purse holds around 100g-20k.
I'm not exactly worried, since all I'd have to do is sell a couple of gold mats that I hoard, but I was more inclined to say "yes" than "no".

Only because I'm am saving for a house. I'm predicting a 500k to 1mil price tag on large houses, and I would very much like to stay above 1.5 in case.

A while ago, I would have laughed and showed you the moths in my wallet.

The 1%: These people almost always run trade guilds. Very few people have over 10 million gold but those who do likely run a major trading guild. I bet a billionaire or two are out there.

Millionaires: Trade guild owners, power sellers, hoarders, end game players with nothing left to buy

100k: I was "stuck" around 100k for almost a year. Part of it is because I buy way too much stuff. Anyway, many people in this area are power sellers who are still buying end game stuff. It's hard to progress past here if you're constantly buying tempers. That said, now I can make 100k in a week because I don't have much to buy any longer and I got into a prime trader. Selling 10 items a day is quite common. If you wanna sell a lot of stuff list it at 75% of the lowest number. You wanna leave enough room so that a power seller can buy your stuff and have enough margin to resell it at a profit. I'm basically a wholesaler. Sell things people need: materials, reagents, consumables, gear with good traits etc.

Below 100k: if you're new it's because, well, you're new. If you're an end gamer and you're poor chances are you play only 1 part of the game. If you only PVP or only do dungeons you probably are burning through items and not actually producing them yourself. Cyrodiil is fun and all but if you play it so much that you haven't picked a flower in 14 months or you're deconstructing rewards without trying to sell them chances are you're poor.

Nope, got a few million, wont say how much though:P

    And no I do not lead a massive trading guild:}

Making gold in this game is easy even if you are not a hardcore trader.

Baffles me how many are poor, not meaning to sound evil, but it truly baffles me.

I have around a million gold in bank. I would have alot more if i wouldnt had golded out every gimmick set when i reached endgame. Now i just gold weapons and monstersets when i get one in good trait. And if i find a 5 piece that i enjoy after playing it for a while i might gold out chest and legs. So to all you that reach endgame, play in purple gear alot until u find the build u want and dont gold out metagear left and right since they change every 3rd month. Best is to get a basic 5 piece like seducer/julianos/hundings/nightmother/TBS if u just have to gold a set out. i still use my medium nightmother/hundings divines in pve that i golded out a year ago. I just use a new monsterset (velidreth) and changed 1 dagger to sharpened instead of precise. And i do enough dps for most endgame content.

If gold is not invested, it will slowly lose value due to inflation.

No, I've got everything I need and enough mats that I could gold out a new full set of gear if I decide to change.

My gold just gets used on stuff I'd like that I don't want to put up with the rng to get eg. motifs.

Just before 1T I rinsed well over 1m on the remaining motifs I was missing and a few other high value items which put me down to 250k, I'm already back up to 700k. I'm just aiming to get back up to 1m as I figure that'll be a price point for some of the housing when it comes out

I like to keep 3million in the bank and 10k on each of my 12 characters.
I dont own a trade guild, and nor am I a prolific trader although i do sell the odd high priced items/ desirable that i have no use for.
Occasionally i'll spend 500k-1M on a new set if i cba to farm it and at 3am i've come up with/ read about a new build, but i usually make it back in a week or two.
I think my secret is I play a lot of pve, do lots of writs, don't die or buy too much, do all my own crafting/ getting gold upgrade mats potion making etc, soloing dungeons while farming new sets has proved rather lucrative recently.

Never really worried about gold since I'm currently not trying to buy BiS gear, or the super-expensive trait books/pages, etc. I've never had more than 60K gold at any time, but even without being part of a trader guild I find it easy enough to make enough gold to buy what I need when I want/need it.

Sure, none of my characters are rolling around in all gold gear or such, but since I'm still questing, exploring and also leveling a character... there's no real need IMO. I can buy the jewelry I need for ~1K in total for green-blue's, and I harvest all mats I need to craft my own gear.

But then again, I am pretty much a slow-poke casual player :)
