Medium weaves return resources?

I was under the impression only fully charged heavy attacks returned resources. I heard from a friend that medium weave also does depending on how long you charge it. Is it true?

Because it's not a thing. ONLY heavy attacks restore resources. LIGHT/medium attacks are good for generating ultimate and for added dps, but the light attack itself does not restore resources. Now if you had an effect active on a target like Elemental drain, a light attack from a fire staff would indeed trigger resources recovery but not from the light attack itself.~PC/NA~ Magblade, Tankanist, Healplar, Stamcro, Oakensorc, Healden, Tanknight ~PLUR~0 -

✭✭✭If you think of the ultimate pool as a resource, then yeah, even light attacks do that. But if you're talking about magicka or stamina, no, only fully charged heavy attacks do that.

I just started playing a magika toon (mDK) and was having a lot of resource issues and my friend suggested medium weave as a way to gain back resources saying that medium weave double dip from elemental drain and also gives me magika back the longer I hold the attack.I play how I want to.0 -
