Medium weaves return resources?

I was under the impression only fully charged heavy attacks returned resources. I heard from a friend that medium weave also does depending on how long you charge it. Is it true?

No, medium weaves DO NOT return resources.

Only full heavy attacks do.

Because it's not a thing. ONLY heavy attacks restore resources. LIGHT/medium attacks are good for generating ultimate and for added dps, but the light attack itself does not restore resources. Now if you had an effect active on a target like Elemental drain, a light attack from a fire staff would indeed trigger resources recovery but not from the light attack itself.

If you think of the ultimate pool as a resource, then yeah, even light attacks do that. But if you're talking about magicka or stamina, no, only fully charged heavy attacks do that.

I heavy attack with my resto a lot since my regen is garbage. The returned magic tick only happens when the attack is done.

Now, if this was on a magblade using siphoning, then medium weaves will allow the siphoning to proc it's ability, correct?
