Why does everyone mention this set? It seems weak for a monster set and the target area is tiny.
IDK for me I would be trading in over 1000 magic and 300 spell damage plus regen for a 10% chance to do 3-5K in a 4 meter radius...doesn't seem worth it. The monster sets should do monster damage.

what 2 piece are you getting over 1000 magic and 300 spell damage from?

It's 3 piece actually- elegant head, shoulders and necklace with spell damage enchantment until I can acquire matching spell damage rings. Even after I get proper jewelry, I still think that a 2 piece head & shoulder set with spell damage seems like a better setup as it's a constant boost to all spells, not just a 10% chance to do a bit more damage in the moment.

it's not. This 2pc-Set provides you with ~9...12% DPS-Increase whereas a single spelldmg bonus will only increase your DPS by a bit more than 2%.
