Old man here. I Played EQ2 for many years, but I've also played Vanguard, RIFT, Neverwinter, Archeage, FFXIV, and probably a dozen other titles over the years. I played ESO Open Beta but didn't buy the game until the Steam sale a couple weeks ago. I'm only up to lvl 38 now, but I just bought a 6 month PP account yesterday... I'm hooked. I love this game and I'm looking for a home.
Probably the most important thing to me in a guild is that they are not stuffy. I have the most fun with players like myself who enjoy just hanging out, maybe having a few beers, and busting each others' chops and laugh at each other when someone fails in a dungeon or whatever (dungeon crawling is my favorite). I've found over time that generally, my ideal guild often tends to be older players like myself (30's+). Keep in mind this age preference is only a guideline since there are exceptions to all generalizations, and it's definitely not a requirement..
Also, my ideal guild home wouldn't be so large that I might still feel like a stranger a year after joining. I think maybe 2-4 dozen active people is plenty. That way you actually get to know people.
So anyway, if anyone has any leads that sound like they might fit what I'm looking for, please post for guidance. It's much appreciated!
