Should Bethesda provide the public with more Mac versions of their games?

I am a new player to TESO, and i am quite amazed how good it is as an Elder Scrolls game. I think this format should replace the previous versions of the game. The fact that no other TES game is playable on a Mac or non-windows PC is quite disgraceful. A huge thankyou to the TESO team for bringing this game to the non-windows PC, kudos to you. o//

Elder Scrolls Online is not developed by Bethesda. They merely published the game.

Zenimax Online Studios made and developed ESO, they are all under the same umbrella company of Zenimaz Media, but different.

You can always get a VM for Windows on Mac...so no need to for ZOS to dedicate precious resources for another platform...which they will need to update and maintain. We've all seen how great these guys are at getting even the PC platform working correctly...and don't get me started on the consoles. Naw, don't develop this game for the Mac - focus on fixing what is wrong with the existing platforms.

On the contrary. Arena. Daggerfall, Battlespire and Redguard play quite well on DOSBox which is available for Mac. Morrowind and Oblivion work with a bit of effort and trouble invested on wine.

No. The world needs to stop catering to a company like apple. I know what I want in a PC, and apple doesn't make it, instead they try to tell me what I want to buy.

You made your choice by purchasing an apple product when you wanted to play games.
    Your loss really.

Or do you visit a vegetarian restaurant and ask for a steak?

I would just to be a tool if my steak restaurant has to serve salad then their salad shop should have to serve me steak. BTW I am a carnivore so my diet is mainly meat mostly steak , bacon, and the such.

Ha. The times are changing, I suppose.

Honestly, I prefer my Chromebook to a Mac.

Seriously though, OSX is still only around 6% of the total market for OS's. Who would want to spend 2x the amount of programming time for such a small audience?
