It's almost comical how few people notice the sellable gray area between price gouging and worthless. It's also funny how much people assume that whatever you are doing is what everyone is doing. There are thousands of players who probably don't even know how the skulls drop. Not everyone is a forum posting, min maxer.
The gold mask will be worth 500k minimum come springtime.

Actually; as of last night, I've been seeing the pages of the Hollowjack Motif for around 200-500 Gold per page on Xbox NA.danielpatrickkeaneub17_ESO wrote: »Some of you guys crack me up. Exactly how does an add-on ruin the economic system? I for one think if we had a way to search all traders for exactly what we are looking for would be great. Prices on Xbox NA are all over the place. Seen Hj motifs for 300 and 300k, so how exactly can you break that?

I am keeping a few of each of the recipes for the 4 characters I will create at some point, but other than that, just getting rid of most everything I loot from the Plunder Skulls

Heh, sorry but I need to call out your BS here.
If there's any economic system that's ruined, it's the console one. MM forces sellers to be competitive, or be undercut easily by others. It also provides every buyer with some rudementary tool to see if a seller is about to take advantage of them with inflated prices.
With a very fluctuating market, and lots of items and prices, no one has a chance to calculate an average mean price for items to sell, without a tool like MM to aid the process.
The inflated and extremely high prices on everything on console is the price you pay for not having access to a tool like this.

ha you found a real sucker that saw the shiny gold book and jumped on it. Aren't there 12 motif pages? That means the person who bought the book paid nearly 10K per page

mm is not a reliable tool because it draws on such a small data set.
for instance.....
this morning someone asked for a price check on a purple spinners wep.
first reply from mm was around 27k
second reply 1200.
all over the place?

lol I hope you're right! I feel I left gold on the table! There are 18 pages I think but still, finding the pages one wants to use isn't hard at all! Thanks! you made me feel better with that comment!

You don't need to tell me how MM works, I know exactly how it works.
And yes, for items with a high amount of trades, as well as being in 5 of the top trade guilds on PC/EU gives me an extremely accurate price for most items in the game.
Of course having completely new items with 1 or 2 sales does not provide you with any reliable mean price. That's not a fault of the MM tool, that's a fault of people who don't know a thing about how it works, and think it's some kind of magical fortune telling machine.
