To people who hover over you while you're unlocking a chest in hopes you fail so they can steal it

Dear guy that stood over my character while I was trying for a chest. I know why you were there, and i'm lucky I didn't fail because you would of stole the chest I found before you. It's not cool for you to do this. It's one of those things that makes you a crappy person. I put you on ignore and I Hope I never see you in game again.

Something to consider; you might break your last pick and leave, then the chest becomes fair game. Presuming that he just automatically intended to steal it doesn't make you much better.

It could just have been a group player. Thanks to dungeons and trials I'm so used to everyone being able to loot chests, that I often stand on players opening a chest in open world to loot it aswell. Sadly I then realize that open world chests disappear after someone took everything.

Personally, I haven't had anyone hover over me waiting for me to fail. I have often expected it and wouldn't blame anyone who does.

Now if people think first to be at a chest = claim/dibs to that chest... Let me ask this. What about someone who stands there just waiting for the chest to spawn in the first place? Do they get first dibs to it when it appears? Is it theirs, because they waited? Or are they the jerk.

I agree with the OP 100% but, you guys do realize that lag plays a role too right?

Example. I ran up to a node and saw someone running in that direction. From my view point I clearly got there first and tried to activate the node but the game says "someone else is using it" and then the other player arrives and farms the node, so I don't think it's always player's trying to be dbs.

So essentially this post is about "I want this chest and it's mine only, so don't try and take it". Seriously mate it's a game if someone wants the chests and if I fail (Which has happened) well that's my fault & if they succeed then more power to them.

I dont think you understand what irony means if you make a connection between me telling another forumite that they dont actually own anything in the game until its in their inventory and a quote by a Skyrim character. But of course its not the OP, thats calling others gross or crappy, thats anti-social. Its the person that hasnt thrown any insults around and has challenged the OPs self-centered attitude towards digital content.

I dont understand why people is still doing that to be honest stand over other play in hope that wont open chest in time for since One Tamriel went live i see alot more chest and nobs out in zones now days and to be honest i dont have time to farm every chest and nods i see

If people see someone else farm or open a chest just move along there more of them out there trust me.
