Unique weapons issue

I've been killing world bosses, an on occasion, they drop unique named weapons. Not sure if this is oversight or on purpose, but it will not let you loot Unique named weapons if you have one already in your inventory. Is it supposed to be this way? Zos?

I feel once you collected said weapon, and its in your inventory still, should be taken off the loot table.

You also can't bank them (at least I couldn't).

You might want to look up the definition of "unique".

It's always been like that. You can only have one copy of a unique item on you.

The reason they're labeled Unique is that you can only have one in your inventory at a time.

That can be an issue now that they're part of sets and it might make sense to use them in conjunction with other parts of the set. For example, some people might want to use two of the same sword for dual-wielding.

I've been able to bank Unique weapons, but if you already have one in the bank you might have the same issue with them not playing nicely together. (Unless that's changed in a recent patch that prevents banking, but I don't remember seeing anything in patch notes saying so.)

Uniques used to be all we would get from World Bosses, and Delve Bosses for that matter. Well, some Green/Blue/Purple trash drops, but no sets.

At least now, on the Delve bosses anyway, they combined the Dropped Sets and Uniques in neat way so we get the Unique and a chance at completing a set.

Was the Unique you got part of a dropped set, or just a Unique by itself?

You can equip 2 unique named rings. Like.the old mezulth rings that were half decent for grinding out vet 14-16 as they had spell damage glyphs on them. Pretty sure you can put two gem of curses (arcane Rattlecage rings) on too.

Do they actually say (Unique) on the description? There are many named items that are *not* unique items.

Hmmmm, this doesn't seem right, I have banked unique items... At least I'm fairly positive I have. Will test tonight.

You can bank them, but only one at a time (same as your character inventory). You can't have two of the same "unique" items in the bank.

Yeah I can bank one, but even with it in bank it still won't leery me pick up second one. they are part of a set. For instance Sharp fangs dagger, it could be good for duel wielding since is a one hand weapon, but can't because it's a unique named item. I got a two named shields and didn't have the issue.

Yes this is a very confusing issue. Most unique weapons we can't have more than one of, but some do allow for more than one to be picked up, like the unique thunder bug axe, I found and currently have 3 in my inventory, also the unique destro staff of the sun I've picked up three on the same character as well.

The named arcane rattlecage ring [Gem of Curses] is not a unique item.
