Whats with all the moved & locked posts recently?

Just noticed a vast quantity of moved & locked posts, is this a new policy or has someone just upped the strength of the coffee they are drinking?

My guess is they are in the wrong section so got "moved" to the proper section. So therefore locked so they are not answered here but in the proper section.

A large proportion of general discussion topics can indeed be moved to other topics; sure. But do they really need to be moved out of General Discussion?

Say someone wants to start a thread on the 'tremorscale monster set'; they name a thread: 'Using tremorscale in PvP'
now a mod may just be like, hey, PvP, moved to PvP discussion;
Where if someone started the EXACT same thread called: 'Using monster sets after One Tamriel Updated' with the same thread contents, it could be kept in general discussion.

All of this is just advice... the mods can do whatever the NIRN they wana do.

There were a lot of troll threads popping up at one point on Saturday, and there were also several threads on basically the same topic (the auction house issue) which they likely felt needed to be redirected towards one or two specific threads, rather than having half a page full of AH topics.

Don't be surprised if this one gets closed. It's skating awfully close to the line with regards to not discussing moderation actions.

If a post contains negative critics about game they just lock it. Happened a lot recently

i think they recently made changes to the forum as i think i saw a thread about it a few weeks ago
maybe it's just that if you've noticed a lot of moved & locked posts

There was several posts that was necro'ed and many were troll threads.

Seems like mods are bored on sundays so they go through and move out of place post that have been out of place for the last week.
