Given the state of the game and the amount of dissatisfaction on the forums, it honestly wasn't even a good idea on paper.

I run Hide & Seek events for our guild; I hide somewhere in a zone, give some starting boundaries to narrow the search a bit, and then wait. First guildie who finds me and opens a trade window with me gets the prize! I used to run three events in a row - one in AD, one in DC, and one in EP - just so everyone could participate. Now that One Tamriel's dropped, it's made the event way more fun since everyone can participate at the same time.

Nothing like trolling guildies in zone chat when they can't find you.

Here's my story.

Got some cool drops from Dungeons and deconed them because i already had them and so does everyone in my group. Also got a lot of off-trait garbage, and have no bag space for sets i wish to complete but still need pieces for.

Find i have a lot more low level crafted items that hold so little value, but that's really my fault for not subbing just for the crafting bag.

Found that pledge groups are actually harder to find with faction gap removed.

Bought gold jewelry at Golden vendor rather then doing Hard Mode in Trials.

Farmed simple solo content for hours upon hours to get gear to improve my dps in group/raid content.

Not all bad but not sure ZOS really thought things through. Perhaps a few focus groups might help. To many new sets. To little value in some. Spreading player base to thin. Contradictory loot system that punishes people for doing group content. Crafting system that has too many items of too many qualities and levels, that is largely unrewarding and was just weakened with so many more gear sets added. Content that's going to expire due to limited loot tables and BOP.

My one Tamriel story involves guildies and friends leaving because of the ridiculously broken state of PvP and that people have found a way of using the poorly implemented ideas of Wrobel to destroy what you all created.

I now spend my time feeling unchallenged because I have multiple characters that can faceroll your content, avoiding PvP where skill comes second to proccing and hunting for achievements because it's the only thing left to do with any enthusiasm.

If you want a story, why not tell one of a company that took a beloved and cherished IP for decades and promptly *** all over its integrity and name with poorly implemented decisions on a system so convoluted that they can't even fix what they break and that hadn't learnt anything from the multitude of previous MMOs that came before them.

If it wasn't for the fact that games media make north Korea think twice about integrity this game would have sunk long ago.

They were a family. Alas, he was walking among Champions and she was chasing mudcrabs. Their gameplay was not to be.
But on 5th of Frostfall the Three blessed the siblings and made their paths cross again. With much rejoice the siblings went on to celebrate their reunion at The Watch House cornerclub.
After days of merriment they decided to repay the Three by doing the sacred work of destroying the vile spawn of Molag Bal, all across their home province of Stonefalls.
But since it was the time of the Witches Festival, they did not forget to have some fun and do some practical jokes...
... or help apprentice conjurers to perfect their magics.

One Tamriel made possible for the PvE interaction of the two characters, Enris and Satyana Maloren (Satyana being mine and Enris belongs to @Kertaw, my long time real life friend) that up to that point only had RP connections (and gameplay) due to the vast difference in levels.
The open world with no restrictions that One Tamriel brought is a wondrous thing for both RP and PvE gameplay, and it brought a lot of memorable moments for me and my friend in such a short time after its release.

I can't wait for more of those moments, especially now that my other friends started to return to their adventures in Tamriel!

My main character is an Argonian. That is the only character I actually got through gold and made to v16. Ruins of Mazzatun and style parlor got me very excited because I main an Argonian. I played around with the new sets and cosmetics on pts, I couldn't wait for them to come available. I played with the options until I found something I absolutely loved.

I didn't know rng crates were coming then, no one did. I figured the style parlor options were there to get people excited to buy them and I was. Two essential items from style parlor to complete the look are in crown crates. I can't even look at my main without feeling disappointed and angry.

Final thoughts...

You make style parlor and load it with many cool options. You then promote it with website articles as a means to buy cool new hairstyles, adornments, and body markings.

You remove nearly everything upon release

You never said anything about crown crates

If you planned to have these in crown crates, then you should have never had them on pts in the first place. Especially when you are making it seem like you are promoting the style parlor system for direct purchase cosmetic options.

The crown crates are a horrible disservice to your customers and the way you went about implementing them was atrocious. We never get straight answers to even the most innocent questions like what exactly will be exclusive. Most information we had to find through external sources as if you can't talk to your own games community.

I have played this game since May 2014 because I never felt wronged by you as a company. I no longer feel this way. It doesn't matter how great One Tamriel is as long as you sour the experience by being disrespectful of your customers.

Constantly kicked off the game when in Cyrodil. But wait! There's more. I can't log back in to the character that was in Cyrodil = endless load screen. Until hours later when I try again. Thanks

Simple: Because my character gets to enjoy duneripper migrations (among other things) in the Alik'r Desert again.

I've met a few interesting characters in my journey about one Tamriel...
One time I met this mage fellow...well saw him briefly really...as he streaked in and looted a chest and streaked out as I was fumbling for my lock picks. I also met this nice group of guys at a Dolmen, well I think they were guys, it was kinda hard to tell as they were all thin & boney like. I had heard you could get some sorta prezzie from the bosses of these Dolmens, but alas I never got to ask one for a gift as they seemed to arrive as as freshly killed corpses.
Then I got told, all the fun was to be had at a place called 'Public Dungeon', but all I found there was a large group of frenzied tourists trampling all the wildlife before i arrived...
Delves were next on my list of attractions, but the places seemed rather empty, except for a similar looking bunch of bored tourists all standing around a pile of corpses..
I guess sometimes the brochures don't tell the complete story, but I am forever the optimist and i'm sure my next journey will be a good one..
