Hi everyone!

Since One Tamriel’s launch, all of us here on the ESO team have enjoyed hearing about your adventures within One Tamriel. We’d like to gather up some of your experiences and include them in a “stories of One Tamriel” article we’re working on. We’re looking for stories about guild events, friends and/or family members who have been able to adventure together more easily, new friends you’ve met on your One Tamriel adventures, or even new places you’ve discovered.

If you have a great story that came about because of One Tamriel, please share it with us in this thread! We’ll be selecting a few for the article, which will be published on elderscrollsonline.com. And if you have screenshots, videos, gifs, or art to go along with the story, all the better (though not required.) Please submit your stories by 10pm ET on Oct. 24.

Thanks everyone – we look forward to reading more of your stories!

    Return to Toothmaul Gully

Late last night, I couldn't sleep. I logged back in to find myself again in Toothmaul Gully where I had been boss hunting earier in the day, searching for the illusive sharpened swords of Queen's Elegance. At that time, the public dungeon had been crowded with people of all different levels. It had been a scramble to try and go from boss to boss fast enough not to miss them getting burned down 5 seconds after respawning. Now the dungeon was empty and I leisurely strolled from boss to boss, using a timer on my phone to try and understand better what the optimal time to wait before killing the next boss was (because if you kill the next one too soon you don't get loot, only gold). After a few minutes, another player showed up. I was level 50 with over 500 champion points. He was level 13. He sent me a group invite, which I accepted. He said we might as well work together, and I agreed. I told him about trying to time the boss kills and that I was looking for a specific drop. He was happy to wait with me to get the timing right and even said if he got the sword he'd gladly give it to me. Soon another player entered, level 30, who also joined our band. Together we farmed bosses for a while, chatting between kills. It was nice feeling kind of like a big brother to these relatively new characters, and we all added each other to our friends lists when our inventories were full and we were about to disband. This was all because of One Tamriel. I think the last time I was in Toothmaul Gully before yesterday was over a year ago, but having desirable gear pieces dropping in various world locations gives relevance even to this, the very first public dungeon I'd ever done when I started ESO so long ago. Enjoying the content with players of all different levels just makes it even richer. Thank you ZOS for One Tamriel! Keep up the good work.

P.S. I was still there this morning and the first 2 boss drops were a sharpened sword and sharpened axe of Queen's Elegance. :D

    A Typical Day In Cyrodiil

I left the keep, thinking I would head over and check out the dolmen and try to get some new gear.

I died instantly to velidreth/viper/widowmaker/tremorscale from a hidden nightblade. Cue in the obligatory 'dancing on my ashes' by the super skilled player running no less than three stacked damage proc sets.

Repeat this experience 20 times before my One Tamriel Adventure ended with a cancelled subscription. Someone's playing a game somewhere, but it isn't me.

Congrats. This is the One Tamriel you've built. My guess is, I won't be in your article.

    Once upon a time....

I tried dueling using a magic character but due to meta if I do not break free in a micro second I totally die and breaking free is impossible because no one has any idea how to fix the lag so I'm stuck wanting to play magic but I can't because meta and now I'm forced to duel with my stamina dk which is cool and all because I win a lot but I want to play my sorc but I can't because meta plus lag equals to unfair advantage and that is all....

    The end...

The Place by Tony Walsh Please Read
This is the place in the North West of England

It’s ace, it’s the best and the songs that we sing

From the stands, from our bands set the whole planet shaking

Our inventions are legends! There’s nowt we can’t make and

So we make brilliant music. We make brilliant bands

We make goals that make souls leap from seats in the stands

And we make things from steel and we make things from cotton

And we make people laugh, take the mick summat rotten

And we make you at home and we make you feel welcome

And we make summat happen, we can’t seem to help it

And if you’re looking for history then yes, we’ve a wealth

But the Manchester way is to make it yourself

And make us a record, a new number one

And make us a brew while you’re up, love. Go on!

And make us feel proud that you’re winning the league

And make us sing louder and make us believe it

that this is the place that has helped shape the world

And that this the place where a Manchester girl

Name of Emmeline Pankhurst from the streets of Moss Side

Led a Suffragette City with sisterhood pride

And this is the place with appliance of science

We’re on it, atomic, we strut with defiance

In the face of a challenge we always stand tall

Mancunians in union delivered it all

Such as housing and libraries, and health, education

And unions and co-ops, the first railway station

So we’re sorry! Bear with us! We invented commuters!

But we hope you forgive us – we invented computers!

And this is the place Henry Royce strolled with Rolls

And we’ve rocked and we’ve rolled with our own Northern Soul

And so this is the place to do business, then dance

Where go-getters and goal setters know they’ve a chance

And this is the place where we first played as kids

And me Mam lived and died here, she loved it she did

And this is the place where our folks came to work

Where they struggled in puddles, they hurt in the dirt

And they built us a city. They built us these towns

And they coughed on the cobbles to the deafening sound

Of the steaming machines and the screaming of slaves

They were scheming for greatness, they dreamed to their graves

And they left us a spirit, they left us a vibe

The Mancunian Way to survive and to thrive

And to work and to build, to connect and create and

Greater Manchester’s greatness is keeping it great

And so this is the place now we’ve kids of our own

Some are born here, some drawn here but we all call it home

And they’ve covered the cobbles, but they’ll never defeat

All the dreamers and schemers who still teem through these streets

Because this is a place that has been through some hard times

Oppressions, recessions, depressions and dark times

But we keep fighting back with Greater Manchester spirit

Northern grit, northern wit in Greater Manchester’s lyrics

And there’s hard times again in these streets of our city

But we won’t take defeat and we don’t want your pity

Because this a place where we stand strong together

With a smile on our face, Mancunians Forever

And we’ve got this* as the place where a team with a dream (*Forever Manchester)

Can get funding and something to help with their scheme

Because this is the place that understands your grand plans

We don’t do No Can Do, we just stress Yes We Can!

Forever Manchester’s a charity for people round ‘ere

You can fundraise, donate. You can be a volunteer

You can live local, give local. We can honestly say

We do charity differently, that Mancunian Way

And we fund local kids, and we fund local teams

We support local dreamers to work for their dreams

We support local groups and the great work they do

So can you …help us help… local people like you?

Because this is the place in our hearts, in our homes

Because this is the place that’s a part of our bones

‘Cos Greater Manchester gives us such strength from the fact

That this is the place. We should give something back.

Always remember. Never forget. Forever Manchester.

OneTamriel is awesome. No specific stories but I'm just loving how busy all the early zones are. I'm a completionist so spent months in each one already and it's just ace to go back and revisit.

Loving the new fun sets!! Before I only had time to find sets that helped both PvE and PvP now with the huge selection I can play with this set or that for fun, enjoying the cool effects. Thus I personally am quite happy with a bad trait monster helm over getting no drop, as I can test those sets / use on Alts, and if I have to OCD a perfect trait I can always see the Golden. Great work on sets!!

Watched a few duals, on rocky outcrops also cool!

The first thing I did was reunite poor Atqoo with his lost Guar family. I've been ignoring that quest marker for a year and always felt bad about it. But finally hooked him up.

LASTLY @ZOS_JessicaFolsom it amazes me how many people that hate the game spend their time on this forum, and bother to post on threads, in particular positive ones like this. It's a great update, its revitalised the game so well done. People can leave if they like!

I don't have good stories too. We went to Craglorn - my friend was really eager to do some new quests he couldn't do before. But our trip ended before a group delve with the main quest, where we couldn't kill the last boss with 300cps and 180 cps full geared - we got hits for 20k dmg, so we needed a group, so it felt like a lie - solo Craglorn.
I do like One Tamriel otherwise, only the fear of my friend, that it will not be solo friendly anymore, was confirmed, sadly it was the reason why he started to play ESO together with the rich story quests.

I hear you @craftycarper73 but This thread is about gathering 'great stories' and about adventuring more easily together, clearly about sharing positive experiences.

Forums are fine to discuss all views, but on a thread gathering positive news, some.comments are just a bit moany & negative. And some of the names that have commented have done before on other threads. It's just a game, and this forum is to talk about it. I guess I just don't get why people that don't enjoy the game A) still play it and B) come to a fan forum alot to read about it and C) post negative views on a thread about collating good news stories :)

But I dont want to derail the thread. I love OneT. On paper I didn't, I didn't get it, reading how the sets were spread in all zones, a reason to go to all zones I started to get it more, then in practice, playing it I really get it. All zones have a breath of life into them and everyone I know is buzzing both for Witches event Skull Pokémon and exploring content that was otherwise dead. It's awesome.

Sorry that its not worked out for you, hopefully you will fine a way round still enjoying it if you want to.

My guild, Priests of Hircine, has always been a multi alliance one, from the day it was founded on the 16th August 2015. It is a werewolf guild for players who believe in giving werewolf bites for free. All of our meetups and events have either had to take place separately in each alliance, or within the battle zone of Cyrodiil in order to see each other at once.
    7xsTIOC.png
    dL8mwfW.png

Not only that, but giving our bites was tedious between the alliances. So many times where an AD player needed a bite but only EP guild members were online. Many of us created alts just to be able to give free bites to people who asked in other factions...

When One Tamriel was announced, I knew it would be awesome for our guild. No longer would we be forced to the depths of Cyrodiil to have our peaceful meetups. No longer would we have to define bites by EP, DC and AD. Many things would be made easy for us.

And so One Tamriel hit. We had our first meetup for it on the 15th October. And it was great fun! All that we had imagined.
Here is a video of the meetup:

We now hope to be much more social with One Tamriel and also give many more free bites. We should reach 2000 total recorded ones very soon! :)

It's just a game you either enjoy it or you don't. Personally I haven't been in Cyrodiil much, too busy farming sets. I have done a couple duel events with my guild, pretty casual like. The first one we had some serious dueler show up trying to challenge members. The person would tea bag the losers of other duels. Then they started talking trash before eventually leaving. I know they managed to *** off a couple of my fellow guildies, but in the end you can't let those kinds of players get to you. The next event we went to a high bridge in Orsinium and had a blast knocking each other off the edge.

One of the goals of One Tamriel is for players of all levels to play together. So I was in the East March public dungeon, grinding bosses for set drops. A player on the quest wanted to group. I led them through the bosses, group event, and sky shard. I helped them finish off the quest bosses. We got back to the beginning missing only one boss. (I'll admit to googling the location of the last one.) Since their bag was full, I suggested we take a break to go back into town. After that we return and finished off the final boss for the achievement. They added me as a friend after that.

When I'm not busy, I try to answer crafting requests when I can. I sold off all my CP10 - CP80 mats, so when someone ask for a set for a friend who just hit level 50, I went with ebon mats. I was told they were super stoked with the gear. Yestereday, I had a lvl 8 guildmate ask for training armour. When I pressed for more details, I got that they were a magicka templar and wanting medium armor with a one hand steel sword. So I took a guess, they were a new player. I decided, on my recommendation, that I'd craft everything seducer, all three armor weights, mostly light, green and with enchants. Also, I made them a restro staff, destro staff, and a pair of swords. That way they could train all the relavent gear lines, keep the set bonus even as they replace some slots with drop sets, and hopefully they'll come back for advice when they get a little farther into the game. It was my good deed for the day.

My group, and I, were exploring the Imperial city and searching for tel-var-stones when we stumbled upon a rogue Ebonheart Pact argonian. He saw the great number of us, and surrendered. Taking pity on him, we agreed that we would keep him alive if he assisted us in finding tel-var-stones, which he did. Once we began our search, the argonian attempted to slip away, and return to the E.P. sewer base. We knew that he kept some of the tel-var-stones that we earned from terminating daedra, and we weren't letting him slip away equivalent to the lizard that he was. We eventually chased him down and killed him. We all obtained a share of his tel-var-stones, and I gladly bought a new pair of boots at the sewer base. In conclusion, the moral of this story is, if you ever spot a soldier from an enemy alliance in the Imperial city, kill them where they stand. They may possess a large quantity of goodies.

Due to going to Wrothgar and getting into PvP more at the time, I leveled my VR up above the silver quests, so that the exp was underwhelming compared to the gold areas. I skipped them, thinking it would be more satisfying to do gold and revisit silver some other day. Now I can go back to doing them in order, and silver is no longer a exp/loot disappointment due to the new scaling. This is almost as awesome as dark deal ;)

I began taking an alternate route to the Undaunted Enclave in Laghold, to look at moving scenery instead of the loading picture or the ninja convention. I found 4 Rubedite nodes, a chest with a set piece, and one Ancestor Silk without even deviating from my route. Taking the scenic route has practical reasons again, and I'm enjoying traveling through territory I used to wayshrine right over last week. (PS4)

The scaling, new dungeon set up, new gear drops, and dueling have all been a massive improvement for me, renewing my interest in the game in a number of ways. Time flies when you kill a world boss, rush over to a dolmen & get that, go do a public dungeon, que into activity finder during all of this, and actually get into specific dungeons because of all the monster head/gear farming. I feel like I am earning more gear, exp, and accomplishing more with my playing time now.

I won't be in Cyrodiil much until I get my gear together, but I'm excited to try new builds there, too.
