Would this work?
EDIT: Removed option #1 bc I misread the effect of minor heroism
The Medusa Set (mostly for NB)
5 piece effect: Grants minor force at all times, increasing crit damage by 12%
Why this might work: Where does one get minor force? To my knowledge, this can only be gotten with the skills "Trap Beast from Fighter's Guild and "Stalwart Guard" from Support.
My NB has a crit chance of 72% right now, and he is not fully optimized w/ legendary gear yet, so I know this could be higher. Assuming 70% though, and a crit damage of 172% (Crit damage is naturally 150% of base damage) (NB's have a 10% increase to crit damage, not sure if that means 150 + (.1 x 150) = 165 or if it means 150 + 10 = 160) (The same thing applies with Minor Force, which could either make my crit damage 172% assuming it affects the base stat or 185 assuming it affects the crit modifier as well), we can do some simple math. Right now, endgame sets grant minor slayer, increasing damage by 5% to dungeon bosses and mobs. Well, if I crit 70% of the time (remember, this is rounded down), and deal 172% crit damage, then on average I deal 150% damage. Without the set on, if I crit 70% of the time and deal 160% crit damage, then on average I deal 142% damage.
So, long story short, in a nightblade's WORST CASE SCENARIO (Remember, the crits can stack up differently, AND my crit chance can easily be higher... It already is and I'm not fully specced out), there is an 8% dps increase with this set, vs. current endgame set's 5%.
Thoughts?
