Your armour set is completely wrong. Our GM on his stam DK doesn't even need to do anything against a Soul Assault, he probably could but it's much easier for him to de-buff you, WB, HA and Executioner until you literally can't even comprehend a person like Eric Wrobel could even exist.

Sure the tooltip is abit crazy, but keep in mind its over 4 seconds(?) so the dps isnt that outta balance.

yeah if you aim right, people can dodge roll out of the way and avoid it. it only hits in a cone in front of you. Sure it gives you 5% attack. so what. like 129 weapon damage?

Thank you for linking that, however someone above said you cannot interrupt it.
Ofc you can't compare those 2 ultis, however the changes to Soul Strike and its morphs were needed to make it viable again. And the ulti's in a good place now, espec considering the current meta
You used to be able to interrupt the caster, but that was changed with 1T ("resolving the reliability issues"), meaning you can't be bashed and interrupted anymore. However the ulti can be blocked now
