Somewhere you can access two dolmens quickly. With the event I believe i got around 20 something K xp per dolmen. With the amount of people there are, it takes maybe 45 seconds to clear one dolmen? Maybe a minute. If you get 20k xp / 1 min that is 1200 Xp / hour, if you typically play 3-6 hours a day thats 3,600 - 7200 xp per play session.

Thats what id do if i were grinding for xp

PS. Crown xp scrolls work with the double xp. so theres that.

Edit: you wont get to each dolmen instantaniously, so factor in about 20-30 second travel time. so shave off about 200-400 xp from the maths per hour and that would maybe balance my maths. I cant math well lel. I was a sciency artsy type in high school/college.

I believe you meant 1.2m/hr instead of 1,200/hr; however, even 1.2m is rather low if you are wearing all training gear, with psijic ambrosia & witch bonus. If you are in a good spot with one other person in your group, ideally you should be able to reach 3m/hr - 5m/hr. The My XP View add on is helpful for comparing grinding spots using avg XP per hour.

Even if you had a good spot people will mess it up because they have no idea how to manage large pulls.

I don't mind sharing mobs with other grinders, but when you start messing the area up for everyone it makes me wish we had multiple instances to select from.

Look at literally *any* of the grind spots that people recommended in the old leveling guides for individual alliances. Even the ones that were for levels 1-40 range, because they're now viable for anyone. You'll find the non-fighters guild locations the least crowded.

There are a few well guarded secrets, such as quest-locked areas with fast respawning tightly packed mobs.

I'll give you a hint to one - there's a quest area that you reach doing the Greenshade story quests which has a pool full of skeletons that are yellow (non-agro), tightly packed, and respawn within seconds.

Is this only if you haven't completed the quest?

Running Dolmens is basically non-stop. Especially in the zones where the are right next to Wayshrines. You even can get decent loot to sell.

Don't the delves and public dungeons give less XP than world mobs?

Honestly I find soloing normal group dungeons pretty good exp. Why? Because there's nobody there and there's lots of mobs. When you're done, port out, wait a few minutes and go back in, or go do another dungeon.
I made A LOT of cp when I was grinding CoA for Burning Spellweave. I've also made a lot grinding Automaton in Darkshade. When I get bored of that I might go do vMA. Basically I do things where people can't steal my exp.

This... probably more so than usual since everyone's out there in group dungeons trying get the new sets.

I'm trying to grind out some Champion Points and level all my weapon skills to 50 myself, and yeah, many areas are pretty crowded right now! There are some good spots, though. For example, dolmens that are NOT near wayshrines. I've been doing Tarlain Heights Dolmen in Grahtwood, and a lot of people ignore it because it's a bit of hike from the nearest wayshrine. There's also a bandit world boss nearby and lots of little mobs in the area, so I just run around killing the world boss and "trash" mobs while waiting for the dolmen to drop again. You're usually in near-constant combat and can rake in the Plunder Skulls to boot. It all adds up, especially with the Witchmother's Festival XP boost going on right now. I'm getting Champion Points and weapon levels like crazy.

Normal maelstrom with xp boost and enlightenment gives near 40k a wave...can't be beaten. Takes less than 3 mins a round.

    This.

1-50 in 8ish hours. Crit rush, dizzy/execute. Usually one/two shot everything but the bosses.

this is regardless of class, every toon is leveled stam then respecced.

    Loot is weak though.

I'm not really getting how this whole delve/dolmen exp farming works, could someone explain it to me? Most of the time when I go to a dolmen, it is on cooldown. And running from delve to delve doesn't give that good of exp (compared to the standard way of mowing down zombies). What am I doing wrong here?
