Quick question about 64bit client

How much RAM do I need for 64bit client? I assume it all comes down to RAM when choosing a client, correct me if I'm wrong..... I wouldn't ask it here but I couldn't find anything online so instead of guessing I decided to clarify this thing for sure to stop wondering, thanks in advance.
