Months ago I ran into an Altmer Vampire Dragonknight in Elden Hollow with the same exact hair and adornment choices, with a slightly different hair color.

We were both a bit taken aback, since my character is also an Altmer Vampire Dragonknight.

There aren't really that many creation options, so yeah, I have seen a few similar ones. I wish there were more, a lot more creation options such as lip/nose/eye types etc etc etc. As things currently stand, it's just a case of others rehashing the same nose model and so on.

Once upon a time I found a level 24 magplar who was dressed and specced exactly like my level 25. The only difference was I went with the javelin and he went with pokey sticks. We fought in Cyrodiil at a stalemate for a good 15 minutes.

Then he got run over by a Zerg and I never saw him again.

I tried to find screenshots, but I have literally thousands, so couldn't find one where I stood next to someone who was almost identical. I have seen it loads for my main character.
Less often now though and I changed her face a little and went for the longer hair, so now it happens a little less. But you do still see a lot of people with similar looks:

No problems if you wear a mask however!

Lol. Oh yes! I have seen at least 4 other "Durzo" or "Durzo Blint" out there- 3 EP and 1 DC. I am sure there are others I have not seen too. When you read a book with a character as great as Durzo, it is hard not to try to emulate them! Lol

happened a couple of weeks ago when I was logging in to wayrest...soon as i got in and the screen switched from blackened players to seeing everyone in color - i was staring at another breton whom was also wearing the breton style medium armor and just so happened to also have the same dye/tint on their gear...fortunately they had different facial hair than myself...

Not that looks like mine, but damn near every stamina character looks the same I've seen. All due to them all using the same sets. ESO combined with Star Wars it seems. George Lucas, are you working for ZOS now? It's the Clone Wars everywhere I look.

I had a male Altmer sorc who ran into a female character sorc that was also an Altmer and wearing the exact same outfit with the the same motif weapons. It was worth a chuckle.

I'm an Argonian, chances of running into my twin are slim due to the limited number of players that play Argonian.

That said, if I did run into my Double the only thing that would run thru my mind is that they have great taste.

I had this weird thing... It was kind of awkward

I had just ported to Grahtwood, and was waiting for my group to ready themselves for pledges, and some Breton came over and stood in my face, spammin skills and bashing me. I ignored them and continued talking to my friends until they whispered me to ell me that my character was their twin, and how they have never seen another with their face

Well, I was polite and everything, even agreed with them a little, we were similar in that we were both Breton and had the same hairdresser but I have never seen another with my templars face, even now

They kept whispering me after too though, and even added me as a friend, it was an awkward moment. They even made me stand for a screenshot

I didn't see it myself...

I was standing at the bank where lots of other people were also standing, and I noticed someone else in the exact same armor motif and dye scheme that I was using. I wondered "Who is this ugly old Orc who is copying my style?"

So I try to highlight him to catch the name, but it isn't working, so i move to the side to get a better angle, and....

It was me. I thought the Velidreth monster mask I was wearing was an Ugly Old Orc face.

Well, my main has been called Vanus Galerion, Mannimarco, and Warlock Carindon before so I don't know if that counts

. It's just the hair really, I don't think his face is pointy enough to match any of those characters.

As for other players I see a few characters now and then who look a bit like one of mine, but I've never found a character that I've thought was identical in every aspect.
