I'm sure Windows 10 isn't the problem. Like others said the 64bit game client is unstable compared to the 32bit one, which looks like most of everyone uses.

It would also be beneficial to find yourself a better Gaming PC. Intel CPU (at least a high up there i5 if not an i7) and an Nvidia GPU (GTX 970 or better) are the best choices in gaming. But if you can't spend the money for that then you might as well rely on an Xbox or Playstation Console.

You are demanding a refund because your computer is crap...ok.

So you think the game works fine, there are no bugs, no lag, no random crashes (this has got better but for many, but it's still there)
This should be a stable game by now, but many things point to it still being in BETA testing at times.

Those that defend ESO are contributing to the game as a whole not being fixed.

I've played since launch, yes I like the game, but I don't put blinders on when it comes to the failing by ZOS to create a stable game.

I recognise there are issues, I also know that they are working on these problems. Just because I do not complain about it does not mean I'm turning a blind eye. As a business stance they know what needs fixed and what's top priority and if I was to defend someone it would be ZOS. Posting nonsensical shite without knowing any real knowledge of coding is just dumb, Things take time.

My post was directed to the OP and how the issues he was having was on his end, and not the game.

The guy says OP's computer is crap.

And from that, you somehow deduct that he thinks the game has no flaws?

That's quite a leap in logic.

    The game isn't that unstable.

Your best option is to be constructive and create a tech support ticket. This thread is pointless except to show rage.

Thanks for that info, maybe I'm starting to think the same way...

@Medieval3D with an AMD card you will need to confirm that you have done the following:

    QSXc5Ml.png

Disable ALL AMD Radeon optimizations for ESO and ESO64. Just turn it off, since Thieves Guild launch it no longer works and causes crashing and system freezes. AMD's tool doesn't play nicely with game engines that use a lot of proprietary or custom code like ESO.

    xroOUXU.png

Thanks for that, at least makes me an idea about, but the thing is I have no profiles for ESO,

Would you tell me your Global Settings please?

@Medieval3D If you don't have a profile set for ESO, it will fall under the default global settings, which is something you probably don't want to happen. I would create a profile specific to ESO, then disable it. If you have problems with any other games, I always take this step for them as well.

Another thing, if you haven't done so already, is to do complete uninstall of your driver. Download the latest AMD driver installer, and tell it to remove all files. Restart, and then run it again to install the new driver files. Sometimes old library files get left behind that interfere with the new driver so you might have to take this step.

No leap in logic was needed, the leap in logic was the OP saying it was an issue with the OPs computer.

If issues in the game are not with just one user, then the issue is with the game if the OPs computer reaches the minimum specs to play the game.

On the other hand, my 290 has worked like a champ with ESO (and every other game) for the past year and a half.

I get no crashes, few people do. The problem is on your end.

Good luck finding good drivers for that card on win10. Why on earth did you even "upgrade" from 7 to 10? If it ain't broken don't fix it.

some people actually found improvements when upgrading to win 10,clean install of course.

Thanks!! I think this worked. It seems was a problem with AMD ATI video cards. I created a profile and work. I have to play more hours to see If definitely works, but thanks a lot!!

    I have DC's, never encountered a crash...
Now, I am a non-AMD'er, always hated that chipset (CPU/GPU), but I doubt that is the reason.
I'd suggest a reinstall of windows, CLEAN install, and retry with a clean ESO...

@dtm_samuraib16_ESO a clean install isn't going to help with the memory leak issue that's worse than ever. I did a complete clean install on my system two weeks ago and I crash more now after One Tamriel came out than ever before. I craft a lot of things for people so I use wayshrines a ton. There's another thread out there that talks about the games cache not getting cleared after zoning causing people to crash. Everytime I rezone more than a couple times my game crashes.

It doesn't have anything to do with your CPU. The issue is with the game code.

*Actually doesnt work :/, must be my video card or some registry problem, maybe updating over Windows 7 to 10 broke something on the registry

I'm going to try this, maybe works for someone:

    (I find this here: http://www.gaiscioch.com/tavern/eso_discussion/post_77612.html)

If you are having issues with the ESO freeze screen problem you can try the following:

Edit the following file using a simple text editor -> C:\Users\\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\UserSettings.txt

Find the following parameter: SET RequestedNumThreads "-1"

Change the parameter to: SET RequestedNumThreads "0"

I think your game wasnt even running with the ATI card since your CPU hast an inbuild GPU (Intel HD).
So you need to have the AMD Management Tool. (called "Radeon Settings" for me)
There you need to point out, wich graphicadapter ESO should use.
If this isnt configured, it used the Intel HD as a standard.

Just a hunch. At least it was like this on my Laptop.
    (i3-4500U, 16GB L-DDR3 RAM, Radeon R7 M260).
I play the ESO on 1280x720, all settings up, except for antialiasing,
and i get ~20 FPS in grahtwood, ~25-30 FPS in Dungeons, and ~30 FPS when playin Solo.

Thanks for the advice, but I dont think that is the case, because just using the integrated Intel video card I couldnt even play games. But thanks, now I use a specific profile for my games, it seems could help

I think I finally find the real solution... I guess...

I installed CS GO (Counter Strike), I havent played it for a long time so I decided installed it again. I got a surprise when I ran it, appears a message saying something like this:

"Disabling Xbox DVR in Windows 10
Users experiencing low FPS or FPS loss after upgrading to Windows 10 may resolve the issue by disabling the Xbox DVR feature.
How to turn off Xbox DVR through the Xbox app
How to turn off Xbox DVR through the Registry Editor"

Here is the link, CS GO direct me to Disable Xbox DVR in Windows 10, this is a feature of Windows 10... Xbox DVR... whats must be the point having that?? what they were thinking... well whatever:

    https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6239-DZCB-8600

I'm certainly must be something about Windows 10 and Windows updates because I could play ESO normally before updating my Windows

I'm going to try this and see how it goes and post If it finally fixed the problem or not

I hope this could help for someone

Pleased to hear it, well done - full marks for persistence  ! Now all those who said it was the game's code can acknowledge that it was in fact a driver issue and that those defending the game are merely confirming that they've never had any such problems with it  !
