Try to get two sharpened swords from purple bags in cyrodiil town.Just a quick rant - gonna keep it short.
The itemization in ESO is terrible. Useless traits, huge loot tables with tons of crap nobody will ever use. And it all got worse with One Tamriel....I thought the goal was to bring people together? Yes in long and tedious grind sessions...
Been trying to farm Viper. 70+ runs and have seen two sharpened onehanders that went to somebody else. There is no end in sight. It just shows me how clueless the dev team is when they add traits like prosperous and training to ENDGAME loot tables and dilute them. I've played my share of MMOs - ESO is definitely the one with the most broken loot system I have experienced, because some traits are so superior to others.
Same goes for Maelstrom. Have done so many runs and weeklies and am still missing the weapons I actually want.
Add a Token system - even if you need crazy amounts of 40, 50. At least you can see the finish line. Or let crafters change the trait you know... easy solution.
Hate token systems its the most borring thing in any game and you never feel happy when you find or get anything. its just a grind aswell.
There was a good post some time ago about making a system were you can change traits or make it as a socket system. That would be a much better ide.
So very very tired. I was hoping to take a break from it by enjoying this holiday event but it's literally just RNG the whole way through.
ZOS needs to focus on the Crafters and real people game play and start to move away from drops sets. Let the Crafters make items for people. I am losing my game play due to the drop sets overload, crown crates, and the crown store only items. I worked very, very hard to learn all the traits and ALL the styles. I would like to use my hard won skills for others. Drop sets are just in the way.

And the Golden is a sad attempt of fixing the *** itemization
