Moonscythe✭✭✭✭✭Rivenspire, no contest.
The absolutely best zone-wide quest line in the game and one of the nicest, if not THE nicest character in the entire game, Count Verandis Ravenwatch
I just finished Rivenspire for the first time tonight and couldn't agree more. It was a good cohesive storyline with a character I could care about and morn the end of. It also, unfortunately, re-confirmed my already strong belief that Emeric is a jerk and I don't care one little bit if he gets eaten by Molag Bal. The king in Dagerfell is a twit but Emeric is just too much. I dislike the Covenant but I really liked Rivenspire.Scura di Notte - Altmer Nightblade (gear)

old_mufasa✭✭✭✭Poll is a bit vague.. do you mean in for questing, layout, looks.. so many different things to judge a zone...
For looks, Glenumbra.. very medieval feel to the zone with the large forest and such.
Questing Rivenspire, the vampire arc was great.. but then again I really liked the werewolf arc in Glenumbra.. only issue I have is if you're vamp or wolf.. the NPC's and conversations don't reflect that fact.. that's kinda a bummer.
Runner up zone would be Stros M'Kai the whole pirate desert thing was fun and it looked good as well..1 -

carljokl✭✭✭I like the different places for different reasons. I picked Glenumbra because it feels quite peaceful and serene to go back to Daggerfall and it's close surroundings after trouble elsewhere.
I found Rivenspire to be the most bleak and depressing place. It felt like the horror movie set. Everything seems mostly dead and creepy. This serves well as a backdrop for the dark vampire story set there. However it is not somewhere I would choose to want to hang around. I had that impression of it all being run down until going back to do Achemist Writs and finding the north to be quite stunningly picturesque as stark contrast to the south. Somehow I had missed that originally.
The Glenumbra vines are creepy and don't go away even after defeating their source. A bit of a shame as some areas could look more pleasant with them gone (and the game is capable of having places in different states). Thinking often...this would be quite a pleasant spot...were it not for big creepy writhing vines sticking out of the ground.
This could apply to zones across Tamriel but I think it is a shame not to see more places become peaceful and restored to being beautiful after completing quests that restore the peace.
Bet'nikh is quite pleasant but there just isn't a lot of it. Stormhaven has some nice parts too but doesn't get a mention.My Characters

Wild_Monk✭✭Generally, I do not like the Covenant game locations. Permanent shade of blue. Rivenspire? Terrible, it is a hell, vampires. This is a permanent shade of blue in the map location, like in Coldharbour. Last week I took it, and it is most unfortunate my watch in the game.
And, all of these lifeless deserts.
What could be worse? Only Blackmarsh swamps, south of Ebonheart Pact.0 -
