One-Shot Mechanics in new Vet Versions of Part I Dungeons

    Exactly. These are mechanics that already existed, but that we never really had to pay much attention to before. Now we do, so I'm trying to gather a list of them.
    Well, I guess I can help to add stuff to your list (not listing obvious red aoe areas):
    Spindle 1:
    - poison spit (can oneshot people, dodgable)
    - stun projectil (not a oneshot, but unbreakable stun which can get you killed when you take to much damage from other sources, dodgable)

    banished cells 1:
    - knockback projectile (not a oneshot, but can push you into aoes and kill you that way, hard to see, can be dodged)

    tempest islaland:
    - charge (can be dodged / blocked, seems to be distance related)
    - tornados ( don't do high damage, but are short knockbacks that can push you into aoe, hard to avoid if the fight lasts too long)

    vaults of madness:
    - broken glass (kills you when you are outside the orb)
    - raising souls (kills you when you are inside the orb)

    direfrost keep:
    - drain (kills you over a few sec if you don't break free)

    Eso is far from "Hard" in any aspect

    You guys should of played WildStar now... that raiding - Content for raid key - was HARD.

    AOE's from bosses are meant to be avoided. If you want to stand in Fire and blame ZOS and the healer for whatever the reason.

    I think a "Git Gud" is in order.

    If indeed it was within your capabilities to read other threads I will gladly take you along for a banished cells II normal on a low-level and getting almost 2-shotted by your standard dungeon mob.

    You are aware that most attacks that send something coming in a straight line can be blocked to mitigate a great deal of the damage if you can't avoid them for whatever reason right? And you're aware that the entire point of this thread is to call out things like whether blocking will save you or whether you absolutely have to avoid it entirely right?

    The big deadra in spindleclutch one one shots on her AOE very unneeded. 29 k blocked damage on a tank. Just lazy game design.
    Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.
