Trivial things other people do that irk you

A week ago, it would have been people only partially looting nodes or chests.

Now, it's dueling in cities. It took a few days for it to really start getting to me, but last night I realized I was fed up with it.

I do this. It's because my add-on lists my total CP and not cap. I'm too lazy to always save space in my brain for the max CP lvl when it's at the top of my screen

People who gather at a group monster thingy, and then jump in after you arrive, then run off.

Yeah the dueling in cities is a riot. In the actual violent mob sense, not the "laugh riot" sense.

But since we're talking about game things, I strongly dislike when people start blasting rap in area chat. It not only drowns out the genuine conversations, it's also usually very explicit, typically about what the rapper imagines other people's mothers do.

- People who say "gtg" when saying "LF1M" or "LF2M" for a pledge or trial. Just seems pointless because obviously you would be "good to go" after finding those roles or you would be asking for more than that...
- People (always lower CP players too) who try to race you to nodes like it's the last one in the zone
- Casting/dueling inside of buildings, especially banks as they're where a lot of people manage guild stuff due to using the banker (personal banker doesn't have guild bank access)
- Summoning those annoying sorc pets inside of the bank or at crafting stations. The Twilight can actually block you from interacting with the banker.
- Attention *** who spam cast in cities
- People in zone or guild chat with inflated egos who constantly talk about themselves. "lol guyz im so OP listen to how OP i am!!!"

Edit: Almost forgot a major one. People referring to Psijic Ambrosia as "xp potions", which just results in newer players looking in the wrong category for them in guild stores.

Nbs spamming teleport strike on one target its like from stealth fine but there's better attacks once your point blank and out of stealth.

Town skill spammers.

People showing off their gear at undaunted but not actually grouping its like I don't gaf about you.

If we get wiped in a dungeon and someone asks the questions

- whats ur DPS
- You have DPS meter installed
- Whats your resistance, it ought to be 20k+
- What ultimates

And it is always funny that guy leaves (after a rage quit) and we invite a random with low CP and we finish the dungeon.

People who have gotten the names of ingame stuff entirely wrong, and keep referring to the wrong terms.

Examples:
- Psychic Ambrosia (Psijic)
- Transition Shrines (Transitus)
- Malstorm Arena (Maelstrom)
- Cyredil (rare is the day when you actually see Cyrodiil spelled correctly)

The only thing khajiit would probably say she notices as a slight irritant - apart from the fleas - is when in a delve and a low level player follows you right round waiting for you to clear all the mobs so they can get past to the boss.

Khajiit does not mind helping out yes but at least perhaps throw in a shot or two?

It's TAMRIEL, not Tameriel, Temrial, or -the most common one- Tamerial.

Had a person like this recently...after he left we finished the vet with 3 with no further deaths

It doesnt cost 146 gold (even though it says so), its actually a free port. If you use the "port to player" before the price drops back to 146 gold, then it costs.

The one thing that irks me the most is people using the term "Cancer Build". It's a horrible word and an even more horrible disease, and I hate to see ppl using it so freely to describe a build they don't agree with in a game

Cancer is something you find in a hospital. You don't find it in a video game.

Not sure if this is trivial but people who just pull everything in a group dungeon before anyone else is in the room. Or people that pull everything in a connecting corridor into the bosses room while everyone is trying to keep up with them

I guess it makes me a gold miser but I won't fast travel without a wayshrine unless I absolutely have to. I just cringe at the idea of paying gold for something that would be free if I just take a few steps and click a shrine.

What's bizarre about its usage, is I've seen it used a lot on this forum when it makes little sense to even use the term. Some people obviously have little idea what the word cancer even means when it's used in the context they're attempting to use it in. Another word many people struggle with too is "irony/ironic".

I mean, what is a cancer build? If you were to apply it's proper meaning, It would be a build that is an evil or destructive presence within the game. So many people who use the term wonder why others sit there and cringe when they utter it. As far as I'm aware, there are no evil or destructive builds that are slowly killing the game. There's an argument to be had that crown boxes are a bad presence within the game, but even that would be pushing things.

The term obviously originated from some bearded hipster somewhere on the internet and since then, all the kids that love to parrot the hipster terms, parrot it without knowing what they're actually implying.

A couple of days ago I tried to test out my tank by fighting a bull netch. As soon as I aggro it, two randoms come up and start attacking it, so I run off and find another one. As soon as I aggro it, the same two randoms come up and start attacking it. Like, seriously, I know this is an MMO, but I've got 400+ CP so I'm obviously not struggling, and killing netches is a pretty pointless activity, so why are you following me?!

Also, but this hasn't happened in a while, getting random guild invites. I (and half of Mournhold) got one once to a guild called something like "Hearts of Darkness" and the guild description was, I *** you not, "Just a guild for now

" I'm guessing it was being run by a 10 year old on their mum's computer.
