Hi,

What are you doing with your quest rewards (armors, weapons, etc)?

Personnaly, I was keeping them because they have cool name and a little description, but since I have no space in my bank anymore and they are useless, I was thinking about destroying them all.

Thx

    This is what I did:

    (1) keep it for research, if I didn't need it then

    (2) deconstruct it for inspiration, if already level 50 in the craft then

    (3) if blue or above deconstruct for mats, if green or below sell to npc

If it's not a set piece, I destroyed them. They are useless and you're are going to run out of bank and bag space very quickly if you keep them. Destroy them and get the material and exp from them.

I look at them, wish I had a place to display them or store them like I did in every other TES game. Then I decon it or vendor it and move on.

Too bad that's the only equipments with lore description. But like you said, I think its better to deconstruct them.

Also, any ideas how to find a full set of equipments at max lvl? For now I'm finding some parts, but only for my lvl, so its useless because later I will be higher lvl with higher equipments.

I destroy everything that is not a set piece. I also destroy set pieces in bad traits. I'd rather have the mats then have things I will never ever use taking up space.

Also, you will find max level gear when you are that level.

Deconstruct everything that is of no useful value for you, or sells for very low price to other players.

All this clutter is the most TES-like part of ESO really.... so much poop to collect, so little is useful. If I could, I would have kept all quest rewards and laundered goods, but it's simply not possible.

Typically, Quest rewards are crap compared to what I can make crafting, so unless it's a very special "something" that drops that I immediately need, it all gets relegated to the "deconstruct pile".

    There's a progression...

In Morrowind, before I got my own place, I used to "drop" all the gear I wanted to keep (but not actually use) on the bed in Caius Cosades' place in Balmora.

In Oblivion I filled the cupboards in my house in Anvil.

In Skyrim you could actually display weapons in your house!

In ESO it's all vendor trash - like why would the fighter's guild even think 3 cups of tea is a reward?

Wouldn't work. Don't you know polls on this forum are only used for expressing personal bias and belittling those who disagree with you? You wouldn't want to break with such a fine tradition, would you?

I started to destroy/search equipments. Its a buy sad since thats the only equipments with lore. If only we could get a journal with past quest and rewards to don't forget these items.

I realized that they scale now and are parts of sets, so I have a new character on the torturous path of levelling without doing the quests so I can have them at cp160...

When I first leveled up, I used some of them.

Now I craft my gear and I only use sets, this is why the rewards I get from questing are useless. Most of them are bound so you cannot even sell them (they would sell for nothing anyways).

I always deconstruct them to get the materials and I sell the jewels to the vendors.

I primarily use my rewards to obtain crafting experience by deconstructing them at a workbench, though on occasion, I will put them in my bank account due to them possessing an unusual, or intriguing appearance, or them having an interesting background, for example, "Queen Ayrenn's Bow".

I keep them, they bring back memories of my adventures, something to hang some stories on. I'm hoping that housing will have some way of displaying them, maybe with name places or something.

I was deconstructing or selling them.

Now Im kind of regretting it.

I think housing will have spots to put up armors and stuff and now I wish I had kept some to throw up on a wall.

That's what I did in skyrim, each boss drop (like Molag Bals's Mace) found a home on my wall.

    Deconstruct. Everything.

If it's void or lower, and if it has a trait the character I'm currently playing requires, it'll get used for research, but otherwise, deconstruct.

Every character I have has gotten their respective armour/weapon crafting skills to fifty without crafting a single item, thanks to deconning all the junk we get from quest rewards and whatnot.

I like to keep unique items from quests, those that have a description at the bottom "This was awarded for ..." But even with all my mules, space is running out :'(

I think rewards from quests should take 0 space lol.

But yeah, I researched some like 4-5... Just saw that with the new One Tamriel update, some of them are now in Armor/Weapon sets, so maybe it's possible to get them again? Now I have queen ayrenn something armor sets or the first bow I found in the wailing prison is now in a beginner set or something like that.

The currents problems with rewards right now :
    1. It's becoming useless very fast since you are lvl up
    2. They have a cool description
    3. It's a rewards

The solution could be the possibility to go to the bank account or somewhere else to get our rewards again (at your current lvl or bellow if max lvl of iron, etc.) even if we deconstruct/research them... I think it could be the most legit solution.

I saved some stuff that is important to me because of the quest that awarded me that, like the staff I got for saving Valaste in the Mages Guild final quest, the Prophet's staff and Vanus Galerion's spare staff because I'm a huge fan of the Great Mage.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
