ABOUT CHANGING USER ID (BAD NEWS FROM ZENIMAX)

Here is a quote from our Director of Customer Support about our recent change to our process on UserID changes.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve how we invest our CSR time to help customers with their important issues. As part of a routine analysis of our top ticket drivers, we discovered that nearly all requests to change UserID for ESO appear to be for aesthetic reasons. This identifier is used only in limited ways by the game therefore we believe this change in process will have no negative impact to game play or account management. The time we save by no longer processing these tickets will allow us to spend CSR time on other more important issues that directly impact game access or play. We will still process these tickets when the situation truly warrants it (e.g. the ID contains personal information or violations of our Terms of Service).
