System: Windows 10

*Currently Running: Crimson 16.9.2, and all new Windows updates are installed.

Hello ESO, I am experiencing a serious problem post update 12 and I am pretty sure I'm not alone on this issue. I and many other 200 series and 300 series AMD GPU users are experiencing black screens, and general game crashes post and prior to update 12. The main thing that happens is right before crash myself and other users are experiencing stuttering, and green lines on our screens prior to the game either crashing, our going to a black screen users can still hear and interact with the game but, can not see what there doing. Previously, before the update I had been able to solve this problem by reverting an older video driver (Crimson 16.7.3). However, these drivers no longer work with ESO and I am experiencing crashes immediately upon log in regardless my graphics settings. Prior to update 12 I was able to run Max settings at 80-90 FPS. After updating my AMD drivers to the newest stable version I can now sometimes stay in character selection for a few seconds. I was able to log in for a minute or two once or twice however, every time unpredictably shortly after I log in, my game crashes or I get a black screen and can no longer see the game but, I can usually still hear whats going on. Which forces me to restart the game and log in again.

All in all I have tried a variety of things to resolve this issue. I have tried upgrading to AMD's latest stable beta drivers (Crimson 16.10.1), I have tried both 16.9.1 and 16.9.2 which are the latest stable drivers, I have tried downgrading back to 16.7.3 and 16.5.1 and this just caused the game to crash immediately upon log in, I have tried reducing my settings on all of these drivers. However this caused really no change in how fast it the game crashed. I have tried repairing my game. I have tried disabling all addons. I have tried down-clocking my graphics card but, still experienced no changes. I read somewhere that the issue might be caused by using multiple monitors. I use two so I tried running the game with only one monitor plugged in but, that still didn't work. The game still crashes in the same manor regardless of what I seem to do. I am going to keep trying different drivers but, I am really not sure what else to do at this point and would appreciate some assistance. Its a patch weekend and I cant update my auctions even though i have like 1 million coins invested in tempers, wax, Kuta's
, and other things. I really don't want to miss out on the profits because of this, and my pledges for the weekend.

Notes: *This problem only occurs when I play ESO, and I have yet to experience similar issues playing any of my other games.

*AMD Drivers I have tried: Crimson (16.3.2)(16.5.1)(16.7.3)(16.9.1)(16.9.2)(16.10.1)

Was going to if I didn't get any responses. Thought I might be able to find some one on here with a similar issue that found a fix but, no need. I found one myself. After screwing around with my settings and drivers I was finally able to get my game running stable with no crashes after switching back to (Crimson 16.9.2) and then completely down clocking my R9 390x to base settings. It's weird because I tried this with my initial drivers and the game still crashed but, it seems that 16.9.1 and up work as long as you down clock your GPU. I'm honestly not sure why it crashes with ESO. The overclock I have is stable on all the other games I play and I ran kombuster for over an hour to test the two profiles I have and had no issues. However, regardless Issue resolved for now. I can just load back to my base clock when I go to play ESO.
