For blazing shield to work well, I wouldnt drop below 50k health. Anything lower and it's almost useless to slot since the shield and damage is poor.
Edit: I also run 3k magica recovery. Without high recovery you're screwed. Even with 100 pts into cost reduction it's still expensive.

Impen is debatable. Crits don't pass thru shields. Only time impen will help is if you don't have a shield up. If you don't have a shield up, your doing it wrong.
Imo of course, do whatever floats your boat. If you run infused on all or just big pieces you get more health. More health, more shields, more shields, more damage.
I personally try to hit the 5 light, 1 med, 1 heavy for the undaunted bonus... for more health.

5 light? Interesting. I haven't used my BS Templar in awhile, but I always went 5 heavy 1 light 1 medium for the extra Health from Juggernaut. 2% per heavy piece it's hard to say "no" to 10% extra health. Is the penetration worth it for 5 light?
And yesh, I wouldn't even worry about Impen..shields up always

Do you know what is the cap of the damage? Because I did some testing and crits and normal hits do the same damage.

Am I missing something because Plague Doctor's 8k total health bonus dwarfs 3x Alchemist and 2x Endurance. I mean maybe if you used 5x Alchemist on your offensive bar and 3x Alchemist and 2x Endurance on your buff bar I could see the point, but to purposely give up 4.5k health seems pointless.
As for PvE, is 1k health worth losing Malubeth's 2-pc? Seems a bad choice for an extra 1k health. Ebon I understand due to the party synergy but for solo or with a small group I still feel Plague Doctor is by far the better choice.
