RD has little to nothing to do with the current OP state of MagPlars.White wabbit wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »And his words are about the same as the MagPlars I play with. Each and every one of them says the same thing: I feel OP as heck.Cherryblossom wrote: »

Lol not something I've said and I've mained a Templar for a while , they are only op due to some silly sets that some people want to wear , I will give you that they aren't in a bad place ATM I would go as far as saying the only thing that needs a nerf is Rd , and only on range nothing else
I think it's very fitting that your image features a Stamina build, who are often just as OP as MagPlars. I'm not talking about stomping newbies here, that's for people who produce 1vX videos. I'm talking about middle of the road PvP players who are in no way supergood players but who with their years of ESO PvP experience notice how playing a MagPlar is just brain dead easy at this moment.Lava_Croft wrote: »And his words are about the same as the MagPlars I play with. (Do you like how I made a line of AD instead of just a massive pile?)
I can kill a lot of things too and feel OP, but then I remember I just slaughtered a bunch of potatoes, not experienced PVPers. Doesn't matter what class you're on, if you manage to 1vX some bad players you feel like a god. Same goes with the OPs video. I know a lot of them EP and they are all just tank builds with no damage.

I regret nothing huehuehue
yeah they are deff better than before. but were also more fearsome before stam was buffed to mount trashmore.
i think sorcs are OP. not templar. i keep going back to LA on mine...just to be ashamed to get hit with one high powered skill, brought down to 50% health stunned and before break free registers i'm dead...there is NO way i can kill a good player in three seconds, even in light armor. thats with glass cannoning it out. now i have tried LA with bloodspawn and the same sword and board weps. i've tried LA with blood and resto staff, i've tried annulment on my main bar, i've tried alot. and i cannot find a sweet spot. every good player i come across has the same defense as me in heavy armor (stam more...sorcs more...DK's we won't talk about XD) but drastically higher offense. i'm getting hit in cyrodil for 12k crits with one skill. the last time i was in five heavy/ sword+board/major resists/ almost capped crit resist. i died shortly after due to a buggy break free...and my issue is, yeah i can just "healup" to full in one sec. yeah ok true, but he can also just spam that skill on me and hit me for the same amount a second time before i can get my fkn charge off. i'm telling you man...since the patch after orsinium, magplar has not felt right, theres just somthing wrong with it. i've been playing magplar for three years as well (alongside my blazing trollplar (can't resist...i love the troll somtimes)), and i just "feel" different...i never wore heavy armor untill thieves guild when i started to notice a change for the worse, LA was great back then, but now my damage sucks. only thing thats reliable as temp is my sweeps, which only does 10k if i crit twice and get a burning light proc, AND if i hit all 4 jabs of it. ok and radiant destruction, but i don't hit that untill i'm supposed to.
i used to get dueling compliments on my skill with the class...now? i can't duel...i suspect battle spirit and lack of annulment is our worst issue althgouh i may be wrong...LA needs help bad

I have no doubt that if myself and my friend had been wearing Malubeth and Reactive neither of us would have died. This video is just a typical every day fight in Cyrodiil and neither of us use broken sets or use crutches so if you take them out of the equation it's a good example of how overpowered the healing is, neither of us even have points into blessed, they're all in thaumaturge, Spell Pen and elemental.
I can gear up in cheese and spec out for healing like the group we're fighting in this video but would that prove Templar is OP, or the gear?

I went from squishy healer into full tank mode healer just by changing my armor from 5 light, 1 med, 1 heavy, to 5 heavy, 2 light now i am unkillable as i said, its the gear and heavy armor making templar godmode tank healers, not the class itself.
Stamina is super strong now, so i had to change my build to heavy armor to stop me getting 1 shot my them, which stamina is only getting stronger in one tamriel so x)
He face tanks ~6 players with his buddy killing 4 of them for almost 4 minutes until the rest of EP players join in and kill them. Is this really that horrendous?

Major Mending passive. (Never been nerfed).
Radiant Destruction (Recently over buffed).
For someone who supposed to be an experienced player, they seem very inexperienced in regards to a Magicka Templar. You should read @Ron_Burgundy_79 post.
But if you missed it, Templar's have always had "Major Mending". It wasn't the 25% bonus to heals that you get now, it was actually 30%. 30% to anyone standing in our Cleansing Ritual and/or Rune Focus. Breath of Life was nerfed not to long ago to only give one secondary heal. But to make up for this, we received the ability to get Major Mending while standing in our own Cleansing Ritual and/or Rune Focus and for 4 secs after leaving it.
What's the difference? Before...you had to be in my circle to get my bonus heals. Now...only I have to be in it.
Radiant has also been nerfed many times. It has never been over buffed. If you mean over buffed by being undodgeable, then you are mistaken. Radiant was never intended to be dodgeable. During the time it was, it was because it was bugged. And during that time, nearly every Templar took it off their bar in pvp. I get it that Stam players that rely on shuffle/dodging don't like Radiant. But Radiant is a good counter to them.
Call me or others forumplars. But I think I'll listen to people who actually know the class and play the class.
5% OMG, what a nerf!

Give me some of what u r smoking. Templars and DKs must stand there ground due to lack of mobility. They get that passive due to this.
The fact that anyone would be asking for nerfs to magicka classes right now in this meta shows how little u understand balance.
Waste if a thread. L2Balance

Will says he mains a NB and he took a Templar for a spin, then says some nonsense about tanking 20 EP and only being taken down by another AD group.
This is not what happens in the Video, so once again, if the facts do not bare out the premise, he's trolling.
My only alt is a MagPlar.Lava_Croft wrote: »These people play MagPlar day in and day out while staying honest about the state of their class.
I'm honest. And I play it day in and day out. But lol...you continue to talk about a class you don't play. And call others who do and are posting here...dishonest. You're funny.

This. How many kills would a stamblade or stamsorc get in those 4 minutes?
