Anytime I am there farming rubedo I always accept group invites from lower levels as I don't need experience. But often times I find that people would rather try beating me to the kills instead of grouping.
If you don't knock the spawns out fast enough and consistently the spawn times will get out of whack.

That being said, once 1T hits, I probably won't even bother anymore. There will be plenty of less annoying areas to grind at when every zone is max level.

I don't go there to grind though. I level up all of my characters because I don't like grinding on stamina characters that don't have healing abilities. I quest everything out and I can get from 1-50 in 10 hours if I clear out all 5 areas (2 hours each zone). I just go to Old Orsinium because I like to stay there all day and kill stuff then sell it to my portable merchant, plus grind rubedo leather.
Every time I go there (and I really do mean every single time) there are groups of at least 5 people in each spot and I'm getting tired of going there only to have a lot of people either a) already be there or b) come in literally 15 minutes after I get there. Not to mention they try to get me to leave on purpose by messing up my rotation on purpose, not unintentionally.
There needs to be more options nonetheless. So if I want to be there by myself then give me solo access meaning nobody can be in the same exact instance at once, or if I don't really care and want to play in the public form of the delve then so be it, or if I want to play with only a group of my choice then so be it. I really don't see any problem with giving us more options to choose from. It is win win.

Craglorn delves might help with the solo experience. They are being tuned down and are instanced so nobody else can crash the party. With the mobs scaled up to max level, they will drop top tier trash loot and the bosses will drop set items. Also there are potential chests and heavy sacks which are absent from Old Orsinium. It may be worth a look. Currently the drop rate of trash loot in Old Orsinium is artificially tuned down compared to other areas. I highly doubt they'll tune it back up to normal when the adjust the xp down on Wednesday.

Like I said I don't just go there for loot from enemies. I like to farm rubedo leather and that doesn't exist in Craglorn.

That does not work because even if I group up with people and there is more than 2 players for a group then I begin to get less and less rubedo leather per kill vs I go there alone and get like 5 rubedo leather every 15 seconds.Mandragora wrote: »I have the opposite problem, but the solution could solve both I guess - always when I tried to do that public dung, everything was respawning right before me, so I had no use of a group before me and I couldn't kill all the mobs alone.

It really is not that difficult. I try to go there all the time and farm for stuff by myself. I don't understand how you are dying by 6 trash pools with 30k health each other than you might not have cp yet or you might not know how to heal or don't have anything to heal with. I use 2 aoes (arrow hail and caltrops) and 2 heals (vigor and rally) as a stamina nightblade and I can do all of that stuff by myself. I very seriously doubt that you have ever done vet maelstrom before.

I have farmed it alot and have not gotten any less rubedo from being grouped up. Actually I usually end up with more rubedo. Almost always keep it to 4 players and we keep the spawns perfect and get nearly all the mobs.

Yes it will when One Tamriel comes out since every where you go you will find rubedo from drop enemies. Everything will scale to you.

If they are, you certainly won't have to worry about the herds of people like there are now.
