Please add grouping options for delves like Old Orsinium

I didn't know where to post this thread other than in general discussion but here it is anyways. Right now there is a huge problem with the amount of groups that go to Old Orsinium to power level their characters and it makes going there extremely pointless when everything is dead around every corner. It's like the best grinding spot in the game and I love the outside part for farming rubedo leather but I can't do anything in that location while there are like 15 other people getting every single kill.

In the next update it is going to be a lot worse and there will be no point in going there anymore. Not to mention the current status of the game as it is right now, how are we going to manage all of this lag that we can potentially be facing? Can we please get like an option to not run into other alliances on your own alliance zones? It seems like a great idea and I'm all for it but there needs to be options for players that are also having these problems as well and also options for the second point that I have made.

Even if so there are still way too many people soaking up all of the kills and all of the xp/loot from the kills. I know a lot of people don't bother with looting bodies but that is how I make all my gold considering the fact that I am playing without a guild at the moment.

Anytime I am there farming rubedo I always accept group invites from lower levels as I don't need experience. But often times I find that people would rather try beating me to the kills instead of grouping.

If you don't knock the spawns out fast enough and consistently the spawn times will get out of whack.

They will be nerfing the xp in the 2 public dungeons in Wrothgar, so that may reduce the numbers of grinders.

    ^This.^

Have not seen any ZOS-initiated nerf of Imperial City XP though (hint, hint ...).

I think One Tamriel will actually help this issue.

As someone who goes to Old Orsinium to grind xp, the prospects of One Tam giving me many more scaled options is appealing, because I am tired of looking at the inside of Old Orsinium.

Guessing more people will find other, more convenient, less crowded spots too and those who want to go there for the leather farm can.

ZoS insists that 2 members is max xp. Old Orsinium is currently basically a pvp zone. I go there with guildmates on low toons to help them level up. I kill things fast, out of order, skip mobs, run backwards, etc. Basically anything I can to make it so annoying for other people that they leave and my group xp/min normalizes. Would I like to invite others and share in the leather and xp? Yes, I'd love to, but ZoS doesn't want that so I do what I can to get the best xp I can.

That being said, once 1T hits, I probably won't even bother anymore. There will be plenty of less annoying areas to grind at when every zone is max level.

I have the opposite problem, but the solution could solve both I guess - always when I tried to do that public dung, everything was respawning right before me, so I had no use of a group before me and I couldn't kill all the mobs alone.

In some games they do have autogrouping in an area around I know it could be abused, but when it comes to public dungeons, I don't know if that wouldn't still be better solution, than to suffer from constant lack of/swarming enemies and one shotted boss by r536 right before you..

That does not work because even if I group up with people and there is more than 2 players for a group then I begin to get less and less rubedo leather per kill vs I go there alone and get like 5 rubedo leather every 15 seconds.

It really is not that difficult. I try to go there all the time and farm for stuff by myself. I don't understand how you are dying by 6 trash pools with 30k health each other than you might not have cp yet or you might not know how to heal or don't have anything to heal with. I use 2 aoes (arrow hail and caltrops) and 2 heals (vigor and rally) as a stamina nightblade and I can do all of that stuff by myself. I very seriously doubt that you have ever done vet maelstrom before.

I don't go there to grind though. I level up all of my characters because I don't like grinding on stamina characters that don't have healing abilities. I quest everything out and I can get from 1-50 in 10 hours if I clear out all 5 areas (2 hours each zone). I just go to Old Orsinium because I like to stay there all day and kill stuff then sell it to my portable merchant, plus grind rubedo leather.

Every time I go there (and I really do mean every single time) there are groups of at least 5 people in each spot and I'm getting tired of going there only to have a lot of people either a) already be there or b) come in literally 15 minutes after I get there. Not to mention they try to get me to leave on purpose by messing up my rotation on purpose, not unintentionally.

There needs to be more options nonetheless. So if I want to be there by myself then give me solo access meaning nobody can be in the same exact instance at once, or if I don't really care and want to play in the public form of the delve then so be it, or if I want to play with only a group of my choice then so be it. I really don't see any problem with giving us more options to choose from. It is win win.

Craglorn delves might help with the solo experience. They are being tuned down and are instanced so nobody else can crash the party. With the mobs scaled up to max level, they will drop top tier trash loot and the bosses will drop set items. Also there are potential chests and heavy sacks which are absent from Old Orsinium. It may be worth a look. Currently the drop rate of trash loot in Old Orsinium is artificially tuned down compared to other areas. I highly doubt they'll tune it back up to normal when the adjust the xp down on Wednesday.

Just out of curiosity, have you (any 'you') ever gotten a motif there?

    I have not.

    Ever.

I would seriously consider trading batches of 60 "key parts" from IC for them.... but I doubt I'd find takers.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

It varies to be honest. Every time I'm in a group vs when I'm not in a group or they all just left I notice that I go from picking up 1-2 rubedo per mob to 4-5 per mob. Not to mention rewards are basically split as well so if I'm getting 37 gold per enemy I will begin to get 25 gold for the whole entire mob just because it is divided equally.

    It's not a delve, it's a public dungeon.

This is an MMO, you simply need to communicate/interact with other players if you want help.
Is it that hard to ask for help in guild chat?

I don't think that they are willing to do that because then people won't have to buy any of their DLCs to farm mats which also means that they will not make any more money from DLCs. I don't think that is what they want. Not to mention if that is actually true then I can no longer make money from selling materials, not to mention I can no longer make money from farming sanctum...

I don't think that I'm going to like the next update. They are literally nerfing the way that I make gold.

If they are, you certainly won't have to worry about the herds of people like there are now.

Also add that rubedo leather will drop from any where in the world come 1T and even more of the crowd is gone.
