I had no intention of said volunteer being in the same alliance as him. I just said ensure they end up back at their base in pretty sure killing him in the sewers will get him back there

Because if npcs kill him you can guarantee this guy will res using a soul gem in same spot and then blame the game

The game is full of tutorials and tips.

The first time you entered Cyrodiil, and/or a DLC area, it promptly informed you that you are now "Battle leveled".
Meaning you don't have to worry about mobs being too hard for you.

Next, there is a whole in-game section devoted to tips and tutorials.
I guess you read all those, top to bottom, didn't you?

It's so much easier coming to the forum and spit *** on the devs and everybody who does not agree with you.

I'm not reading everything. @OP: It is annoying how easy it is to get to certain map areas from your base and how annoyingly difficult it is to get back to your base. Climb a ladder and you are on a rooftop in the exact area you need to be. Climb into the sewer and you are clear across the map. Explain that one.

Well, my main is EP and I usually stick to average population campaigns because I hate both the solitude of empty campaigns - went to one for one cycle just to complete the PvE content - and the large scale mindless zerg and endless waiting queues in the full ones, enjoying instead the smaller scale skirmishes. I'm not very good at PvP and only reached lieutenant rank. I still get killed a lot, but have my share of kills. I mainly tank PvE content in heavy armor S&B but in PvP I'm ranged & 2H burst melee in medium armor; tried heavy a couple of times and it's boring as hell.

But I never talk to opposing faction players in Cyrodiil and IC. If they beat me is OK, if a beat them is OK. If they gank me it's my fault for not being careful (I usually keep a cheap ult ready at all times), if I gank them it's similarly their fault. If I get caught by a zerg it's similarly my fault for not hiding effectively and exploiting the terrain in other ways. If their set procs and kills me when they aren't supposed to (ex. ranged poison from viper) it's nobody's fault but the developers for letting the exploits trough. I see no reason why a particular mentality would prevail among players of a particular faction. Probably it's something related more to the fact that players organize in guilds that go in a particular campaign, and rather the guild tends to group similarly minded people. Probably in your particular campaign there's a red "crybaby guild"

Don't worry about it, if he actually ported into Cyro for the first time and "didn't see" the questgiver for the Alliance War tutorial right in front of him, then he's either lying or an idiot.
Same with the DLCs, it's not difficult to find the quests either from the DLC page of the collections tab or by simply googling how to pick up the quest

I am totally new to this game, 54 years old and have only been playing ESO for 2 months so far... but yet I am able to figure out how to access stuff, set my settings and even added Addons. And they actually work as intended. And Lord knows I am not the brightest lightbulb on the Christmas Tree either. I get lost in a paper bag. No kidding LoL.

My hubby can tell you all about our trip from Massachusetts to Ohio with me reading the map upside down.

Clueless, rage-filled person who can't read or use a map and who doesn't even understand mob identifiers. I've seen some ranting before, but this is projection and hyperbole on a whole new level.

If thousands of people have no issue using/ playing the IC DLC, then it stands to reason: you're the problem--not the content or its mechanics and execution.

You get slapped in the face by the tutorial beginning NPC the second you port in xD

Not always, actually. If you get ported into the secondary border gate (which happens rarely, but it does happen), the quest giver for the tutorial is not right in front of you. (They aren't far away though.)

One easy "get out of sewers" ticket is to actually pick a campaign that's not full and assign it as guest campaign. Then queue for that campaign. When you enter it you spawn at one of your alliance's gates. Used this trick a lot when I had a lot of tel var and was far from my base. Just jumped campaign and returned via alliance gate and closest keep to sewer entrance.
