So I haven't played the game in a few months even though I had only just started playing and I would like to follow the story but can't remember what has happened so far. I am in Glenumbra now. Is there anywhere I can read this? Or does anyone know?
If you are in Glenumbra you didn't get very far, have a look at your map and tell me which places you have completed, and I will try to tell you the story up to the point you are now at as best I can

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.
As you finish each stage the next quest is assigned, so it won't be too hard to figure out what you did by looking in your Journal for the next step and back tracking from there

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

OK I am going to put this in spoiler tags so as not to spoil anything for newbies, just click on them to expand:
Daggerfall
The Bloodthorn Cult had invaded Glenumbra, and infiltrated the city of Daggerfall - the main quest here started out with a dog called Giblets leading you to a corpse with a note with some secret phrases on it. Asking around a few people in the city and an investigation of the docks revealed that there was going to be an assassination attempt on the king, and you rushed to the palace and fought off his attackers. Daggerfall side quests involved tackling a werewolf that was preying on beggars, and returning a stray pig to its home (both the side quests were marginally related to the main zone quest
Delyn's Mill
The villagers of Delyn's Mill were under threat, the land having been corrupted. After much fighting with imps and spriggans you rescued some of the villagers and provided time for the Wyresses to port them to safety and dealt with the corruption in the area, they then sent you to deal with the corruption at the heart of the Wyrd Tree
Wyrd Tree
This was quite a convoluted quest(s) that required you to deal with the corruption around the Wyrd Tree, you will have conducted a ritual to contact the guardians, defended some of the Wyresses in their purification rituals, and freed the guardian spirits. Then you defeated a corrupted spirit inside the Wyrd Tree, at the end of the battle a projection of Angof the Gravesinger appeared, said a few things (along the lines of "you may have defeated me here, but there is more in store, bwahahaha") and then disappeared
Aldcroft
You rescued the duke of the town as he had been captured by bloodthorn cultists, and learned of a werewolf plague spreading through Glenumbra. You met Gloria Fausta, a descendent of the werewolf Faolchu, and with the help of a guild mage captured a werewolf and took him to a cave where Gloria performed a ritual to reveal that Faolchu the werewolf had been raised from the dead by Angof as part of his dastardly Bloodthorn plot to bring doom to Glenumbra. The ritual also revealed that the duke had been turned into a werewolf, there was a choice at the end of the quest where you could spare and capture him and a few other choices. The conclusion of this quest sent you to Glenumbra Moors to discover Faolchu's weaknesses and how he was defeated before, that is where you are up to

Oh and btw, when you are doing the Glenumbra Moors quest (the ripples one that you said you are on), I strongly suggest that you choose to rescue Alana - it doesn't affect the outcome of the quest in any detrimental way whatsoever (it adds a very short step to the quest), just changes the outcome slightly in an amusing way.

I had this same exact question for when one tamriel rolls out - i haven't done much questing within any of the alliance storylines for a long time...it would be great if I could pick up the trail again similar to how the main story tracks in your journal...
