I absolutely remember getting a Galerion ring when the set first came out. That is a tel var set, so whoever said that none of the sets have jewelry is wrong.
New IC sets which were added have jewelry, but the originals (Shield Breaker, Black Rose, etc) do not have jewelry or weapons.

And Zenimax did comment on this in the AMA when brought up and said it will be fixed so they do :)

There was not a ton of new info, but there are a few useful bits in there if you read through it. They are pretty good about not giving absolutes, but you can get a pretty good gauge of things they are considering/possibly working on and things they are not considering/not possibly working on.

For example, if you read Wrobel's responses you know that the next update will have a focus on balance changes and that "a bunch" of frost abilities are potentially in the pipeline. If you read Finnigan's responses you can see that it is pointless to make anymore comments about the BoE removal or undaunted plunder. They are gungho on that decision, so just accept it. If you read Rich's comments you can see that a buff tracker for console is in the pipeline.

I noticed in a few occasions that they suggested that they use data on what sets are most used to determine their balance... anybody else think that was a little strange.

For example, a second-rate crafted set might be used by many, and it would be flagged as useful to the devs, but what it might mean is that it's more accessible and used by players as they prepare to get the BiS stuff that they really want.

Not everyone will agree what is best for the game but time will tell . No one is hoping the game will lose players or die off but another mass exodus like we had when ZOS made the mistake of introducing vet levels will be too much a second time . ZOS corrected that mistake but is sliding the dangerous slope right after regaining some traction .

New games and opportunities in 2017 are coming and ZOS should consider this danger . Not fixing issues like balance for a long time make decisions about leaving easier for people . Feeling being listened too is not important if always ignored anyways . There is a real competition gearing up for this game soon and one wrong move could make or break the end game shelf life here .

I hope ZOS makes positive changes .

Weren't Guild Wars 2 and Wildstar and Black Desert and Fallout 4 and others meant to be serious competition that may put ESO in danger? Yet it still remains.

I am off playing Dragon Age: Inquisition (finally!!) at the moment. But ESO sure as heck fire will still be here after that and after I've played through FF XV and others.

No I never considered any of those a real threat to ESO . There is one coming though .

Well I heard lots of people on here saying BDO and others would kill ESO.

What's this next one that's going to kill off ESO then?

I am not leaving for any game or giving advertising out for the new competition but it is a competitor . I want ESO to be the best and stay the best . My heart and interests lay here . The only reason I am bringing up the reminder to ZOS is not everyone feels the same as I do and it's not to late to start being more receptive to the community and not just giving lip service and delays on real issues needing fixing .

I also under stand Mrs Bruno can only release information allowed and I am guessing not every decision unpopular is her choice . So I will avoid negativity and do my best to be constructive about what I like to see ingame without arguing with those that think everything is always fine and nothing can ever ruin ESO . While I wish that were true , experience in gaming over decades has taught me it is not and some of my favorite games lost all support for mistakes made in the past . Some games make legendary status like World of Warcraft and can get away with many things . We are too young here to be acting this way yet .

I read someone say ZOS hired the person who created the never winter store. Hoping it's not true.

*** NO, I hope this is not true, I remember when Neverwinter introduced, their 'cosmetic only' cash shop RNG crates and within a month they contained box only insanely OP gear upgrade mats and enchants, plus there was multiple exploits with opening the same box infinitely and also duping its contents, it was the main reason I left

I remember that fiasco. As for who was hired...According to info I read in the PTS discussion about Crown Crates, it looks to be on the true side. That person is listed as having done work for PWE.

I don't know what thread you were reading, but one of the biggest things I read was that they're going to make speccing into HP more important to prevent people from having awesome healing and damage just by speccing into offense, which I've been asking for ever since I've been playing this game and it's actually in the works, albeit very preliminary and a while before we see anything. I can't describe how amazing that is and hopeful it makes me, and straight from Wrobel's mouth so it's actually happening. Awesomesauce.

Yeah, I'm really happy my question got answered on this, even if Wrobel can't talk about specifics yet.
IMO he always gives the best answers in these AmAs, possibly because he's more open to talk about stuff he's working on for the future, not just the next update.

-Magicka DK getting buffed in Update 13 (this includes Dragon Blood although it sounds like they're changing the ability, rather than just buffing)

im glad it's only been over a year and multiple meetings pleading and pushing the idea of buffing/changing this... can you imagine if it took a inconceivable amount of time to change a class defining skill that wasnt good in pve or pvp? no, neither..

    RIP ESO.

I can feel the heart and soul of the game begin to be ripped apart for profit.

    Free to play coming next.

The last time they changed the name it went b2p, they are changing the name again I kind of figured this was the f2p version coming, they have all ready set a precedence for doing things like this.

I am not a fan of f2p never stay around long after the change, I will give it a good try if it does indeed go free to play but the focus on the store with nothing new in the game has always been a big turn off for me. Shame really, but with all the cheating and exploiting and broken game mechanics if they throw f2p on top of that, I am sure I will gather my toys and go home. :)

I've been playing MMOs long enough to have pretty realistic expectations from these types of developer discussions. I read through the whole thing, and overall they did a good job of telling us about what they could and not giving players false hopes/false expectations.

Above all, MMOs with large player bases are going to look like 'cash grabs' because that's just what it takes to keep games like this going. Also, the developers of the game probably wish they could work on a lot of the things that the players want them to work on, but it's not always up to the devs to work on what they want to work on. The game is reviewed at a higher level with the idea of attracting and keeping as many customers as possible. With the success of scaled zones and with the Christmas season coming soon, Tamriel One and the new DLC mega pack edition of the game makes perfect sense. Christmas (and the months leading up to it) is the time to push new sales of the game, not to make current players happy with bug improvements. I'd guess the first update in 2017 will have a lot more of these balance type issues addressed.

In time, I'm sure devs wish they could give players everything we ask for, but the truth is that there are limits to the amount of development that can be done. MMOs require a large playerbase to be successful, which forces their hand into catering to the casual players. The casual/new players create the revenue that is needed to provide the budget to develop the hardcore content and the hardcore players give the casuals/new players something to strive towards. That's just how MMOs work or they will fail.

The most important things for me to see are changes that promote the longevity of a game, such as ESO's announcement that it will be ready for the PS4 Pro when it comes out. Also, the idea of Tamriel One is huge in itself, and I hope they can find the balance to keep the game challenging for the vets and fun for the new players.

The one thing that caught my attention was this quote from Eric:
Our goal is to make it more valuable to spend points in health instead of just going all magicka or stamina. The reason this is so powerful is you're getting to deal more damage and heal yourself for more by maxing offensive stats. The current design is still in progress, so l don't have concrete details for you right now.

It always seemed wrong to me that the same thing that increases your offense also increases your defense. I'm glad they recognized the issue, and am curious what solution they will come up with.

This is interesting so maybe they are going to make the health stat the modifier for healing.

Can't believe they are buffing magicka DK.
I just hope, that they don't make them even tankier or buff their 1v1 capabilities.

They seem more in need for a 1vx buff.

That would make sense for self-heals, but not so much for healing other players. Unless all heals become based in some way on the max health of the target rather than the healer. Which might make sense. So a skill might heal "3,000 health + 10% of the target's maximum health" or something.

ESO is the only AAA graphics MMO out right now, and they are turning it into a phone game.

I played BDO till level 56 and what you said is true because the grind and p2w is what drove me away. But in regards to ESO being the only AAA graphics MMO thats not true. I have never played a game as beautiful as the graphics are in BDO. They got that part right.

People are mad about some of this stuff, but I think you are missing the biggest tidbit from what @MissBizz provided. Tel Var sets are getting jewelry (and weapons?). Folks are going to be able to run 5 piece BR and 5 piece medium with a monster set..... That'll be fun...

Of course without multiple pieces of heavy who cares but this will make people freak out B) . Could combine it with imperial physique also
