I don't want dragons in ESO but I would love to meet some of the Blades in Hiding. Maybe come across Skyhaven Temple again or the one in Hammerfell. Other than that yeah I don't want or need dragons to love this game. I just want MOAR Nirn!

Just to nitpick, there was one Dragon in Redguard. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Nafaalilargus
Which takes place about 300 years after ESO.
I was just pointing out that there were Dragons in more than one TES game. When that game takes place in relation to ESO is irrelevant.
Actually, it isn't. You see, the dragon mentioned in Redguard is a dragon that had ties to Tiber Septim, who hasn't been born yet. Furthermore, as pointed out previously, there are no Blades or Dragonborn in the time period ESO takes place. This all means that dragons have no reason to appear in ESO and we should all just settle with the Daedric Titans we've been given.
That still isn't relevant. I didn't mean that Nafaalilargus should appear in ESO, I was just pointing out that he appeared in Redguard. I already knew what you just wrote.
So what exactly IS the point of mentioning a future event in the timeline in this thread then?
One poster (the one that I very clearly quoted in my original comment) said that Dragons only appeared in one TES game. I pointed out that there was also a Dragon in TES Adventures: Redguard. Did you miss the quote at the top of my original comment?
Apparently so lol but yeah Dragons may have been a thing more in Skyrim than any other TES game but they are definitely not indigenous to the 4th Era Skyrim takes place in. In fact, there was plenty of Dragon hunting in the time of the Dragonguard.
Haha, then I understand.
Oh, definitely. The Dragonguard may have killed most of the remaining Dragons, but it absolutely wouldn't suprise me if we got to meet a Dragon in ESO at some point.
If they do decide to do anything with actual Dragons, and this is a STRONG "if", then it would relate to the Fighter's Guild, which many at least of the original Dragonguard joined when they disbanded. In fact, this is no doubt why we have Daedric Titans.

That seems quite likely. The Dragonguard is still around though, albeit not as the Emperor's bodyguards as they once were.
This whole thread is a bait. Honestly, I'm happy with no dragons flying around. Hell, those things are one of the biggest cliches in the genre, I think we can live without encountering them for the next 10 years-or-so while we explore the world of ESO.
And, honestly, people who do know the role never claimed it would be lore-breaking to see dragons in ESO, it's just that there's so few of them that they could never play a larger role in shape of mounts or mobs. World bosses? Yeah, no, thanks. A minority of the living dragons are currently in hiding. Some are hibernating, some aren't, but most of them are simply waiting for one thing and one thing only - the time when Alduin would return to Tamriel and eat the world. They have no intention of ever being spotted and definetly have no intention of ever engaging in combat with a men or mer. The last of the dragons were so frail, weak and afraid that they had to seek help from the mortals.
Would I like to see a dragon in ESO? Yeah, sure, maybe in a questline for the continuation of the main story (but the story has nothing to do with them, so including them in it would be forcing it), but - honestly - the things are nothing but a boring cliche that has been beaten to death in almost every major fantasy series. And while they do have this amazing presence in series such as The Witcher, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and others, their iteration in Skyrim has proved that in Elder Scrolls, they're rather "meh" and generic compared to the competition.
The fact that Molag Bal used one of them to create titans is one of the best things that could ever happen to them. It's rather unique and different and the whole thing also serves as an example of how well ESO actually expands the lore of the series.
The current era - the time of daedric invasions, "world war" and other troubles that plague Tamriel - holds rather little for the dragons. Noone really gives two s***s about them at the moment; they're not a danger to the people, their location is unknown and at this point they're pretty much a fairy-tale.
