To all people who say, adding dragons to ESO would be lore-breaking!!! NO IT`S NOT AT ALL!!

I just had to repost this, as this has to be known to everyone, who replied to many treads asking for dragons, that it would be lore-breaking.

There are dragons still alive in the era of ESO, and adding dragons to ESO would not be lore-breaking at all:

In case that somebody would argument with the Lore, please check this post before replying - it clears every argument out:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3378779/#Comment_3378779

Also this Lore book writes this:

"Known to Live:

Ahbiilok - Sightings dating back to the early years of the Dragonguard throughout the northern Jerralls. Multiple attempts to kill him have failed. He is believed to be lairing somewhere in Morrowind.

Mirmulnir - Last sighted in the Reach in 2E 212.

Nahfahlaar - Repeated alliances with mortal protectors which have prevented his elimination. His last known protector was the King Casimir II of Wayrest, which the Dragonguard successfully ended in 2E 369. He escaped and current location is unknown.

Paarthurnax - The legendary lieutenant of Alduin in the Dragon War. He is now known to lair on the Throat of the World under the protection of the Greybeards of High Hrothgar. Master Araidh continues the established policy of avoiding direct confrontation with the Greybeards while waiting for an opportunity to exact justice upon him."

The source is from there:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3377676/#Comment_3377676

And the original source is here - check the part "Known to live" there:
http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Atlas_of_Dragons

When these dragons are still present in this era, hidden not seen by anyone for ages, there is no reason why even more dragons could not be hidden in Tamriel, or even in other continents of Nirn!!

So now, this issue of lore-breaking cleared out, ZOS, could you please add some real big dragons to ESO?

I know we do have Daedric Titans (former dragons changed by Molag Bal - see spoiler - lore book about titans bellow), but real dragons!!!! As word bosses or bosses in certain quests or dungeons!!!!

Well yes, they EXIST.. But they are also in some kind of hibernation.. So in a way, it would still be against the lore if they suddenly just woke up because players can't control their addictions

well yes, in hibernation, so what :)? - how to wake up a dragon from a deep hibernation sleep (just some first ideas that came to my mind now):
    - sudden volcanic eruption next to its liar
    - he was hungry  -
    - someone has discovered his liar and woke him up
    - earthquake woke him up
    - Molag Bal has found out about this dragon and wants to change him to Titan, so he woke him up, but the dragon won the fight/fled
    - sudden rift of Oblivion caused by a group of cultists woke him up
    - etc etc....

btw. do we know the reason for that hibernation, or is it unknown? or they just needed a nap?

Why Dragons? We need entire flocks of Cliff Racers harassing players.

Edit: But yeah, Dragons would be great. As long as they don't become flying mounts.

The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I think they where added with modding. Most I had on my tail when playing Morrowind was 5 or 6.

Erm... where did @altemriel mention flying mounts?

    Right, nowhere.

Just the request for Dragons to fight.

I do not care about flying mounts (when I requested them somewhere in some other tread, it was more a joke), but adding real Dragons would be just awesome!!!!!

And what was the reason why the developers do not want to add dragons to ESO?

Okay, you found TWO dragons supposed to be alive in 2nd era... The only two survivors of the Dragon War. Maybe we will see one of them in the futur... Maybe one in Vvardenfell where he's supposed haveing landed. And the other one, we don't know... So it is thin to add dragons anyhow. At best one of the two will make an appearance in a future DLC , that's all.

just a few quotations from that source (there is NO supporting evidence there, that adding dragons would be lore-breaking):

"....They were nearly rendered extinct after the war,..... (means not totally!!!)

".....(about Dragon War)....Kyne intervened, and instructed Paarthurnax to assist mankind.[8] Paarthurnax, originally the first lieutenant of Alduin, had become disillusioned with Alduin when the latter proclaimed himself a god. As a result, Paarthurnax betrayed his former master and taught the power of the Voice to mankind. (so no, Alduin is not the supreme god of all dragons, who just can make any dragon to bones and ashes... - as some people replied here)

With the rebellion against the dragon priests, dragons were slaughtered in large numbers. The dragons that survived chose to live in remote places away from men. Alduin himself was banished by a group of Nord heroes on the peak of Skyrim's Throat of the World, where they used an Elder Scroll to send him into another time. While the Nord warriors hoped that Alduin would be lost in time forever, he would eventually return to terrorize Skyrim again in the Fourth Era.

The dragon cult itself, however, survived. They built the dragon mounds, entombing the remains of dragons that fell in the war, believing that one day the dragons would rise again and reward the faithful.

    ....Disappearance
Before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the last known sighting of a dragon in Tamriel was in the time of Tiber Septim. He made a pact with the few remaining dragons, swearing to protect them if they would serve him. Despite his promise, dragons were still hunted and slain. It's not clear if the last ones fled Tamriel or if they were exterminated

As far as I know from playing Skyrim, the story of Skyrim was connected to dragons, but more precisely to dragons in connection to the Dragonborn and Greybeards and the dragon shouts etc....

But ZOS could add dragons to ESO like wordbosses, or like group quests bosses, or similar!!

I do not understand the disgust of some people saying "go play Skyrim", in my opinion adding a new element like this to the game would be just awesome!!

I can see one of the dragons that are still alive maybe one that was unknown being a very special boss, that it would take many players to take down. In a dlc or something. But yeah other then that pretty much most of them are extinct at this time. Having one in a dlc would not hurt the lore since its possible they could do it. But only one or two and no more then that they could get away with. But them being common foes no since that would break the lore. They would have to be very speical boss level foes that can't be taken down with ease. Then there will only be one dragon or two they could add in. But no more dragons other then that should be added to Eso.

well, check the post with the citations from the lore, there can be even more of them alive and awake in the 2E!!!
