No from me too. I have 10 AD characters (only the first on ever set foot in Cyro because I do not really enjoy pvp) and recently created one character in each of the other factions just to be able to buy the specific alliance style stones form the Tel Var vendor. With your proposal, I would no longer be able to buy the DC and EP style stones to get armour crafted with them. Yeah, no thanks.

Example: A person may have any mixture of characters that began as AD / DC / EP and played through those first levels from any mixture of Kenarthi / Stros / Bleakrock. When they enter their first campaign, they choose an alliance, and that choice holds for all their characters.

Yeah. It's not like you could sell the AD ones and buy the DC EP ones from a guild trader. This is definitely the smartest reason to reject alliance enforcement.

What, give money to an enemy player? The ones that kill me when I try to do some Cyro questing? No way. I created characters in the enemy factions precisely to avoid it.

Now anybody can be essentially everything and play with anybody. What is even the point of the Cyrodil after this? Run a dungeon with somebody one minute fight them the next...

I've defended blue road keep against person X and then 15 minutes later found person X standing beside me helping to defend Aleswell!fastolfv_ESO wrote: »its actually funny seeing people scream you cant limit people like that! they did this b4 for campaigns where you could only use chars of an alliance chosen for said campaign and it would lock your alts of other alliances out of it. Undoing that hurt cyro in a bad way with people just swapping over to the winning side or helping your home allaince on an alt from a different one. Sadly the went the opposite route discouraging alliance pride for the chance at a few more subs, theres zero reason in game to allow people to play all 3 sides on one campaign, if you went around trying to make friends in all 3 alliance you can always play in different campaigns to grp it was such a simple solution

Yeah. Certainly seen the angst it causes when a well known player from another alliance suddenly appears in another one. The accusations of spying & all the other bull**** you read in zone chat.

No? Guild stores are multi-alliance. Someone from AD could have bought DC EP style materials and decided they don't want them anymore.
