✭✭✭✭From a visual design perspective NPC can be scaled higher than PC because they don't encounter the same limitations related to armor, weapons, mounts etc. There are plenty of complaints already that various pieces of armor, depending on style, clip trough bigger and more muscular PC. The armor on NPC only looks like the crafted/dropped styles of armor available to PC, but in fact is implemented in a different way and doesn't have the clipping issues. It may be even an integral part of the NPC model, because, unlike previous TES games the items can't be looted of their bodies when they die.Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

The hit box is identical for everyone. Character height is irrelevant to that.Xbox NA1 -

I know the feel mate i try do a Nord that would be big and buff up on muscle part but honest my char end up look like wimp compare to Lyris Titanborn yes yes i know she is Nord half-giant but honest should we as player also have "choose" make Nord half-giant char if we want to?

✭✭Managed to get my Altmer just about as tall as Titanborn. She towers over vitually everyone in game. And in Grahtwood & Greenshade its almost embarrassing.
Don't like small toons so all have the max height they can. The Nord is not that much smaller than Lyris. But wish they could be taller...

Is... Is that a common Nord practice?Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.

This was addressed already, simply by scaling the mount;
Previously polymorphs like Draugur and Xivyxn*? were scaled so that you were larger; I used this on a daily basis and the mounts were also scaled (two bear mounts next to each other were noticeably different ~ 50% in size);
ZOS then removed the scale on all polymorphs and mounts because they couldn't be bothered scaling the weapons either.
i.e., just scale everything and it just works...0 -

I'm pretty sure half giants are relatively rare since human women seem to die in child birth when giving birth to even a quarter giant like lyris.0 -
