Crown Crate Items and Opening Animation

Also, the numbers on these are stupendous. I unlocked everything I could in the Crown Store (to maximise gem rate) and bought 13 crates, here is what I got:

45x Crown Gems
2x Crown Crate Fortifying Meal
2x Crown Crate Refreshing Drink
25x Crown Invisiblity Potion
1x Crown Lesson: Riding Speed
1x Crown Lesson: Riding Stamina
75x Crown Lethal Poison
30x Crown Spellcaster's Elixir
40x Crown Survivor's Elixir
10x Crown Tri-Restoration Potion
15x Crown Warrior's Elixir
2-3 Hats.

Now, even if we ignore that literally all of that is useless, the Crown Crate to Crown Gem ratio is absolutely awful. That is 45 gems from 13 crates, or 3.5 gems per crate, let's round that up to 4 gems per crate and call it 1 gem per 100 Crowns.

That means to buy an "Apex Reward" mount you need to spend a whopping 40,000 Crowns which is £174 (GBP) and that is ridiculous. Admittedly this may change, but even if the average is 20 gems per crate you're still looking at £35 for an "Apex Reward" mount, unbelievable when you consider people have been outraged over £15 for a mount.

My suggestions are as follows:

1) These need to be cheaper, a lot cheaper, maybe 100-200 Crowns.
2) Let us get rid of all this useless crap the Crown Crates give. Let us swap potions/food/whatever with a vendor on a 2:1 basis (or so) for Crown Gems.

I will probably think of more, but right now I just wanted to get this out there.

For someone subbing, or buying regular crown packs, it's probably best to think of 1 gem = 1 US $. (Half that if you pick up the big pack during a sale.) I didn't see anything in there I would pay $20 for, let alone $40-$400. At least now I can confirm it's a waste of time without spending real money to try it out.

They spent a lot of effort making the animation. This could of been an interesting fun gambling mechanic ingame using gold and getting rewards would of kept me invested in playing the game. This could of been a fun gold sink. Another reason to play the game. A very missed opportunity.

The animation rivals bonus game animations in modern casino slots. I don't know whether to be dispointed they are going this route or impressed with the flair they've given it.
