Maelstrom Dual Wield Weapons Potential Bug

First of all I'm really taking a look at this problem objectively, just posting facts. So the facts are the following:

-Before the Enchantment Make over this was the value of the VMA Dual Wield Weapons https://goo.gl/images/DTS8EE

-Currently this is the value of the VMA Dual Wield Weapons, Everything is the same except "Your Flurry grants 3096 Weapon and Spell Damage on the next single target damage over time effect cast within 4 seconds".

-The bonuses of the other Maelstrom weapons have about less than 10% of the effectiveness that the VMA Dual Wield Weapons provide.

-The Master Dagger for example only provides a minuscule amount of weapon damage to the dual wield bleed.

-The Maelstrom Dagger(Or it's variants) is like an ancient space ship vs Master Dagger being cavemen in terms of power.

-I have come to the following conclusions, because in comparing the other maelstrom weapons the Dagger completely blows everything away, no end game weapon comes even close.

-It's possible that ZOS made a typo and added an extra zero to the weapon damage buff of Maelstrom daggers

-It's also possible that ZOS made that change intentionally, i haven't heard of anyone that brought this up yet, so i apologize if someone already did.


CONCLUSION:

1. If ZOS made this change intentionally then why not buff the other Maelstrom weapons as well, If this is the case then this is why the meta has shifted even more toward stamina(I play only as stamina, really taking a look at this from a neutral standpoint)

2. If it wasn't intended then it is a game breaking bug that needs to be addressed.

If anyone has a quote from ZOS officially on this please reply below. We really need clarification from ZOS on this.

    Here is a better question on vma daggers.

    If you use one infused which gives 3700 extra and one sharp at 3k extra.

    100 proc chance....which proc do you get? Enchantments don't go half and half and both weapons glow.

    In a recent patch, flurry was buffed in speed so that it became a viable damage skill. The meta shifted from 2 handed DK's and niche stam sorcs and suddenly flurry became a good skill, even before you add in the (at this point) extremely powerful Maelstrom daggers and axes. Basically, the enchantment was designed with the old, slow, rarely used flurry and when flurry was updated, nobody thought to go back and look at the Maelstrom weapons associated with that skill.

    I'm pretty sure that this is intentional. Even zos wouldn't leave something like that in the game for this long. It has been like this since the release of msa weapons.

    The Daggers are overtuned, there's really no other way to describe them. It's great that most of the vMA weps are really useful and good, but the Cruel Flurry enchant provides way too much bonus dmg.

    N'ah bruh. Not at all. Especially with the content ZOS has been releasing lately, with things having tons of resistance. Sharpened Maelstrom weapons are the way to go, and especially the dual-wield setup. I completed VCoS the other day without my Maelstrom weapons, to see what it's like. And dude, it's not anywhere near as smooth as with them. Trials as well (e.g. VAA-HM).

    ok, they really need to take things like that into consideration when changing a skill. Not just the skill but everything else it touches.

    They are pretty sweet. But a good amount of players drop them for 4 man's and vMA.

    Yeah and it s not like vma sharpened dagger/ axe actually exist in game post DB...what ? They really exist? My bad ...so far 12 axes/ dagger and my best trait is 1 precise and 2 nirn...

    Because 3k spell/weapon damage doesn't equal 3k more damage on an ability. That's not how things work.

    Use it with poison injection and minor slayer. You'll see 25k ticks at 20% health and lower.

    Looks like there's a stamina to weapon power ratio, as well as a Magic ans Spell power ratio. If only ZOS would tell us that.
