    It sounds like there really needs to be a separate set of items/skills for PVE and PVP.

    There is NOTHING here that needs to be nerfed for PVE.

    This is funny.
    Of course nothing needs a nerf for PVE...because balance is irrelevant. You're hitting weak and stupid mobs that barely hit back all day. Who care how powerful you are?

    ...seriously though, nerfs make PVE more challenging. Which you should want if something is OP...I guess feeling godlike, killing stupidly weak mobs does feel good though. :wink:

    The problem then is people will complain that PvE content is now too hard because their skills hit like noodles against the mobs causing them to request nerfs, reducing the difficulty of harder content further.

    Only one I agree with is Jesus Beam nerf. Everything else is pretty minor and has ways to deal with them. Just for fun, could you also please insert what change you think would be good for each those skills??

    Well I guess that makes me a vastly inferior being to you... but then, i don't think there is anything godlike about clicking buttons & keys better than another person but I suppose it if it makes ya feel good though, roll with it.

    ...seriously though, ignore my petty retribution for your inability to grasp the concept that different people play games for different reasons and just because you can't understand it does not make your reason for playing an MMO more valid than theirs.

    Oh great... here we go..

    1. No.. it ticks like 1k when it's full.

    2. You serious? You could just walk into them? You can actually dodge roll jabs.

    3. Learn to break free? Nothing much else to say.

    4. It's a melee ranged root, you can even change the direction your facing in it. Either put some distance as the dk won't have a gap closer, or out heal the dmg, or pressure the dk... or use shuffle.

    5. Pretty sure you just pulled these numbers out of thin air, it's only really effective and reaches 8k at 30% or 25%, it's a melee ranged execute than can be dodge rolled.

    6. This one i can actually agree with, plus the buggy sounds and visuals means you get hit with 3 of them before you even notice, plus i agree why have the damage on something like dizzying at a 50m range. Super annoying it should have range or damage not both.

    7. Learn to manage your resources, magicka builds haven't been run out of stamina for a while, use tri pots or imov pots.

    8. Well increase your horse stamina? Get the passive in the cp tree, stop sprinting with 0 stamina when your near an area where there are fights.... come on really?

    9. This skill is literally so easy to dodge it's not even funny. Also who gets hit with a dizzying on their horse?

    10. Dark flare? really, i can make a new charatcter and get it to 50 before the flare can hit me, reflect, dodge, shield, interupt, come this is just stupid now.

    11. This one i agree with, reduce the range, stop the instant tick.

    But most of these are just l2p issues and are ridiculous, seems to be requests from someone who isn't too good at pvp and only plays a few characters.

    You forgot poisons, proc sets, healing on some builds, major vit pots, malubeth etc...

    can we nerf the thought process of PVP threads being created outside of PVP forum?

    Every time I see one of those in GD or Combat and Character Mechanics, I have to hold myself back from saying that there's an Alliance War section and a PvP Combat section of the forums. (Although I'll make some exceptions for PvP threads in GD).

    So I nearly die everytime I see a pvp thread in Combat and Character Mechanics.

    I sort of miss the holy trinity setup older MMOs had, where there were tanks in heavy armor, high health, moderate damage that were good at killing dps; casters in light armor, high damage, lots of aoe, low health, good at killing tanks; stealthers/high dps single-target classes in medium armor that had little health, high evasion, high utility, no aoe, good at killing mages.

    It seems crazy to me that almost every class can hit like a truck, heal like a cleric (somewhat), and put up decent defenses. People should have to make greater commitments to their builds, greater bonuses but also greater penalties. People should have to think long and hard about what they choose, something that determines their playstyle. It's cool that we can switch up our abilities whenever, but too many abilities are shared between classes, and it's incredibly easy to switch abilities real quick and essentially be a different class.
    • Let people choose to 'train as an assassin' so their stealth/crouch is better than non-assassins, and damage from stealth goes up considerably, but their defenses drop just as well.
    • 'train as a knight' raising heavy armor effectiveness, increasing defenses, add taunt to some skills, but lower damage.
    • 'train as a summoner' raising the effectiveness of pets, converting the players abilities to mostly pet abilities, sacrifice the players damage, but increase pet damage.
    • etc..

    Lol to putting so many magicka abilities on the list but not the stam instaburst proc sets and shuffle. Very interesting...

    Exactly as it is Stamina is highly dominant in PVP 85% of duelers are stamina classes with their high burst/velidreth combos and this scrub wants to nerf the last hope magicka has against stamina classes. Rofl.

    You could nerf everything down to where people all have the exact same stats, abilities, and power... but who always wins?

    The zerg, man. The zerg.

    Even the strongest, baddest Emperor still dies to 30 faction members piling up on him.
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Coming back after a 6 month break from the game and there seems to be more cancer builds in pvp than ever.. Tanks that wont die, stam sorcs running around at 100mph with hurricane and 5k weapon damage, templars who spam heal + radiant and not much else, nightblades who lock stock and execute from stealth in a couple seconds.

    Feels like a lot of the skill is gone imo.

    Oh no! There are skills in this game that actually work and are effective!?? Better nerf them!


    Maybe the issue isn't in the skills or abilities, but in the people complaining about them?

    None of these skills cause me any grief, aside from Jesus beam, and even then it only causes me a problem when I have like 6 templars all spam it at me simultaneously, over and over. But then again, any ability would cause me grief in that circumstance (albeit, less intensely)

    I agree. The worst decision I've made recently, was calling myself rejoining PVP, and getting active within Cyrodiil again. That was an absolutely horrible mistake, and honestly? I wish I kept my gold in the bank, instead of spending them to alternate my skill points and champion points. I would've been much more happier, and wouldn't have had to spend 26k.

    1.Hurricane. Why? No way to counter it, you can't dodge out or knockback because the radius increases. You cannot stealth because of the large radius.

    2.Biting Jabs/Puncturing Sweep. Why? The constant spam of it, and isn't it supposed to knockback? It does not so you cannot stealth out. And when they spam jabs you'll be dead, and when they spam sweep you cannot kill them because of the heal.

    3.Aspect of terror. Why? It cannot be broken, even after repeated "fixes". Reduce the fear to 2 seconds.

    4.Talons. Why? It can be spammed. Over and over and over again.

    5.Reverse slice. Why? I get that it's two handed, but it's simply way too powerful. If you're at less than 50% health, you're looking at an 8k damage spam.

    6.Snipe. Why? No ability should do that much damage from that far of a range, even if it does take 1 second to cast and is dodgeable. If spammed against a magicka player, they're dead when out of stamina with no way to counter it.

    7.Anything that stuns for more than 3 seconds. Why? If you don't run a stamina build it's an instant death sentence. And even if you do, all CC is so buggy and laggy you probably won't be able to break it..

    8.Horse knockoff stun. Why? This is also a death sentence. You should be able to break it, otherwise reduce the stun to 1.5 - 2 seconds. It should also provide CC immunity WHILE you're stunned.

    Lol there's really not much on this list that requires nerfing. Some of them, like fear, could use fixing so it's actually possible to break it when you want to. But yeah, most of these things really don't need to be nerfed.
    Out of everything here, I'd be happy if they just reduced the range of radiant destruction

    I have no remorse anymore for ppl that are here to think they only matter. That this game is only about them. Everyone that thinks nerfing is the solution to balancing this game should just stop playing so because clearly they don't enjoy it so why ruin it for us that do?

    For information, running in Cyrodiil naked is a bad idea.

    Mass hysteria is annoying because it applies to multiple targets but if I could just reliably break it then I probably wouldn't care about it.

    Radiant works as intended in small scale combat. It needs the range because people could just dodge roll right out of it and that defeats it's purpose. On the other hand in large scale battles it's cheese. Just spam it non stop. It will hit an opponent fighting off 2 guys and if his health drops he is dead. This skill still is not overperforming. 3 people attacking 1 guy should kill the other character. Does anybody remember proxy det bomb builds that could wipe out 10+ opponents in less than 10 seconds?

    If people used radiant as an actual execute and not a death beam at 50% hp then people would dodge out of it.

    It goes through dodge roll and if used at like 25% dmg it one hits people, like every other execute is used.

    Magplars are just easy mode spoilt when using it, it's actual stupid how strong it is.
