Questions about Bashing (for upcoming update sets)

I was looking at the new Knight's Errant set and I like the fact that it adds a little damage to One-Hand and Shield abilities. It probably won't be the most popular set for end-game content... but I like to play around with the new stuff. My questions are:

- Is Bashing (both regular bashing and the 1H/S abilities) based off of Stamina AND weapon power... or just Stamina?
- Do Bashing Enchants (for jewelry) stack? One Legendary Bashing Enchant increases the power of your bash by 288ish. If I use three on my jewelry- would it increase to 864?
- Would three Bashing Enchants be better than three Weapon Power Enchants IF bashing abilities are based off stamina and weapon damage?

I always appreciate actual numbers if anyone's run them. Thanks!

    Well, damn. I just did some testing with two simple jewelry enchantments of Bashing. Guess what? They ONLY increase the damage of your normal bash. Not your bash abilities. So, Power Bash and Shield Charge are out of the question. And, with the stamina cost of normal bashing- it basically makes those glyphs completely useless. There went that theorycraft.

    Who walks around just normal-bashing everything? Thanks for a useless glyph that doesn't apply to any bash abilities.

    Actually bashing is a huge part of my burst damage. I run a stamblade 1h and shield and I use light attack, animation cancel, suprise attack, animation cancel, bash. Its done real fast and puts out lots of damage.

    Not sure if it matters to you but in vDSA, you do A LOT of bashing as a tank, so those reduced cost enchants are quite useful.

    No. It's not worth the slot. As a pve tank you want block reduction or cost reduction of stam or mag. As a PVE build you want weapon or spell damage glyphs.

    Exactly my point, bud. Zeni needs to combine it with the reduced cost of block glyph or make it apply to all bash abilities. No body uses this glyph.

    I'm still waiting for the day that Zeni makes a Master's Shield with a combined Shield Play and Bashing Enchantment... and adds the prismatic enchantment.

    Bash really relies on max health, too? Do you have any numbers crunched on that one?

    Oh I thought you meant the reduced cost of bashing enchant, the one that reduces block cost as well. I use 2 of those.

    They should add increase bash damage to the reduce cost of bash in the champion tree.

    It does not scale from any stat pool
    It only scales from Weapon Damage
    and ofc the S&B passive doubles the damage, Mighty can add 25% and any other damage buff

    The Bash damage increase Jewelry enchant is currently a placeholder imo, waiting for a better use.
    Because using a Jewelry weapon damage enchant is more effective

    BTW
    The base cost of shield bash are 2,160
    from the S&B passive Deadly Bash you get already 40% cost reduction.
    If you already use block cost reduction enchants, you get 300 bash cost reduction as well
