Hello comrades.
As stated below:

Does that literally means that ALL the items sets will also drop on all the slots? Even the older ones? Like Tel Var Vendor Sets; ICP and WGT sets; etc.
Really looking forward the anwers. Ty in advance!

Itemization Changes
In order to support One Tamriel which allows you to go anywhere, we needed to make several significant changes to itemization and item sets. In general, each zone and dungeon in the game will now drop 3 sets – one for light, medium, and heavy armor – and all set drops in the game will scale up to CP160.[*]Item Sets will now drop for every item slot.

So this means that light armor sets will only drop with staves? Then the sword wielding mage meta will take a hit I don't even know if Twin Blade and Blunt passive even works as intended right now or it's an oversight. Well yesterday I got a 2H axe for the Soulshine set, which is a magicka/spell power set bonus. The set would not help in any way for any 2H skills that I can think of, so the "more intelligently" part may just be for the sets that specifically increase the damage of "Bows" or " Dual Wield" won't drop as staves for example.

✭✭✭✭I also like the swords on my mage because they give back stamina on heavy attack, which is necessary for blocking, breaking CC and rolling out of danger. ✭✭✭✭✭Telvar merchant sets, even the ones you get from the bags are not dropping in jewlery or weapons, even if @ZOS_RichLambert said on pax show that he believed they are. Other sets that drop just like this, from bags, do drop in every slot. (ie cyrodiils light, morag tong etc)

Read the quote again, the melee bonus was given as an EXAMPLE of the changes, not as the change itself.
The change is "drop more intelligently". ONE example of that is melee bonuses not getting put on a ranged item. Another example of "drop more intelligently" would be ranged bonuses not being put on a melee item.Xbox NA1 -

Yes, it does.
The TL;DR of this is that every set in the game now drops in all useful item slots except the Imperial City jewellery sets and Undaunted sets. There are a few question marks such as the IC sets Black Rose but @ZOS_RichLambert needs to confirm if that is a bug or not, I personally think it's a bug and they are intended to have every piece.
As for golden jewellery @magnusthorek you will only receive golden jewellery for items that drop in Trials.0 -
