Zen, will we eventually get personalities that govern our character's weapon stance?

I ask because I've been wanting an animation that makes it possible for my character to hold his one-handed sword with two hands, and towards the front. Something more similar to a samurai.

    I think the overall fighting animations shouldn't be changed but when you're standing still with weapons in your hand, that's where they could add a personality. As Dubhliam says, it's a pity that you can't tell the personality when you're drawing your weapons.

    Eh... last time I checked there's no weapon skill line for a single one handed weapon. No SAO stance for you.

    I dont think we would have any personalities that would alter the combat movements.Cause its crucial in pvp to see what enemy is doing and react in a split second.

    On a side note, Zenimax supports animation cancelling but I cant explain that.

    I think there should be a lot more personalities in the game at least. Like does the Master Angler get a fisherman or even a patient(lol) personality? If not I think there should be more rewards like that; for example in a questline where you make a choice you could get a friendly personality and a prick personality.

    It's not like it changes combat animation so it wouldn't be the biggest deal to be able to be rewarded a personality or two

    Would love for this to happen, personalities effecting roll/dodge/block/basic combat animations. A samurai sword holding animation would be sweet.

    I also think personalities should be bundled with certain skins. Just like how LoL's higher priced skins come with unique animations.

    The only thing with changing animation is that animation isnt that easy. We have lots of races and both sexes, and they're all unique in animation. If there was no big issues and bugs in the game just now I'd say they'd be capable but where would they fit that workload?

    Some alternative sheath positions would be nice, especially since back sheaths clip the backpack of the Treasure Hunter costume.

    This would be a mess to implement, because nobody uses a one-handed sword without something in the other hand. You'd either have two one handed weapons in both hands held together (which I can't even imagine working) or a shield on one of the arms that's also holding the sword (which kind of renders the shield useless, realistically...as well as putting a lot of strain on that arm and probably causing horrible clipping with some of the bigger shields).

    There are personalities in the game that just aren't playable yet that NPCs use, I believe. Also, male and female characters use the same skeleton, as do different races, so it wouldn't be that hard to make it work for everything once the animation is made.

    Yeah, I was really disappointed when DB came out with the first Assassin personality.
    All is good and well while you are in town, but as soon as you do into battle (90% of the time in my case - I love dungeons) it's like the personality doesn't even exist.

    Just a regular stance, nothing to see.

    I was really hoping for some kind of dual wielding stance like this:
