Yea but magika classes get all that also.but they also get skills and choices of ults that do magic dmg and so increase via cp
I'm all about balance and personally can't see an issue with have a stam morph of bats that does poison or disease dmg.
Just for record I also have a magika sorc
Yea I did wonder how long it would be.
Both morphs do very little for stam classes the only real reason nightbkade shadow become vamps is for stealth speed so would be nice to have a few stam morphs.

I'd like to see some stamina options for vampires, but since werewolves are very stamina-oriented I can't see it happening unless they made werewolves more magicka-friendly which I doubt they'd do. Vampire passives are still useful for stamina users at least, doesn't seem to be the case for magicka werewolves by my understanding.

I ran into a magsorc who used the Werewolf ult as a defensive tactic. When he was nearly dead he popped werewolf and perma healed until help arrived. On a magicka class, the WW heal is extremely strong, it also gives them extra resistances to tank you for a bit longer.
At first I kinda laughed at him, but when he healed through all my damage until his group arrived, I'm pretty sure he was the one laughing.

I've never heard of a magicka class using lycanthropy as part of their build, so I have to say that's pretty neat someone found successful use for it - I'm glad it's not entirely pointless for magicka then! They have no damage capabilities as magicka though, do they? One of these days I'll actually try it out, I keep forgetting to.
Vampire is designed for magicka builds just like werewolf is meant for stamina. In my opinion. bats does not need a stam morph.

Yeah his damage is quite low as a Werewolf, so he didn't even bother. Just used it defensively to avoid dying long enough for his group members to come to the rescue. The heal is rather expensive for stamina builds, so they can't spam it, but on a magicka class you can heal yourself quite a lot. Between the heal, fear and extra resistances I just couldn't burst him down.
I gotta give him props though. It worked.

In a few more updates and CP cap increases they'll be able to completely negate the fire damage weakness. There will be literally no reason not to go Vamp, unless you're running a health regen build or want to look sexy.

When overcharging was available I actually made really fun use of werewolf on a magic character. I've been wondering lately if a tanky pelinal-wearing mage could get away with going werewolf. I don't know how great it would be but I have been curious.
