It's far worse then that imo. Every patch my client crashes. Every patch my loading times increases. Last night it took me 2 hours just to log in!

About the load screens.

If a keep has recently changed or no longer UA, DO NOT try to port there. You will get an almost infinite load screen. Wait a few minutes or ride instead.

I've noticed lag is much better overall recently but when it gets a bit hectic, the server is significantly worse than it has been for last couple of months which is weird. Pausing and freezing that I haven't seen for over a year.
