Elf Bane and Grothdar

Elf bane is not increasing the duration of Grothdar. Grothdar ticks 6 times with or without the set. Is this a bug? Elf bane tooltip says it increases the duration of damaging fire effects by 2 seconds, it does not specify skills so I figured they would work together. Can this please be addressed? It could be a good boost to mDK build diversity.

I'll try to remember to do this tonight and post here to remind myself. I love Elf Bane. Too bad the Elf-Doom Maul wasn't updated to be part of this set.

I got the set on PTS. Elf bane does not appear to be increasing the duration of the two new sets =(

I hope it's a bug. Grothdar + elfbane would be a really fun set up on a mDK.

I think that since Elfbane increases the duration of "Abilities" it will not actually affect Grothdarr, being that it isn't technically an ability . It will only effect what you use on your bars. However In my opinion I think that they should change the tooltip and the set itself to increase tbe duration of all flame "dots" for 2 seconds. This is similar to Silks of the Sun, which also uses the word abilities. Does Sun actually affect Valkyn Skoria or Grothdarr? If it doesn't I think it 100% should.

After some testing, none of the dk fire abilities seem to be affected by elfbane currently, either. Can anyone else confirm 5th bonus is working at all?

Grothdarr is not an ability, it's a set bonus. I believe sets and passives that increase your "flame damage" will work, but not "flame damage abilities"

I think is does not aply to set bonus because if it did i would just put a burning spellweaver and it would be up for 10s not 8 imagine that
