In my guild, yes, the bank is for dropping stuff you don't want/need someone else might. That's why this person didn't actually NEED to snatch and run but did anyway. That's just an example of someone showing their true colors.

By the way, this guy spends a lot of time in Cyrodiil so I don't think he crafts.

Then we likely run our guild banks in a similar fashion, except mine had no actual mats and most of what was in there was dropped in by me lol

Yeah, we actually keep mats in the Gbank, but the withdrawal is kind of restricted to trusted players.
Those players then proceed to craft sets to leveling guildies for free, using the mats provided.
Any excess mats those players have (usually) get dropped to the Gbank, and the merry cycle keeps spinning.

Until you get on of THOSE players.

Yeah I made my guild from day 1 so it had a lot of low level stuff in it but all the high level stuff was mostly pretty trashy but there in case anyone wanted it (trashy because of traits on it and stuff lol) but some of it was actually good stuff someone could use but no one ever took anyway so it was either waiting for a new owner or someone to sell it lol

Also had some Motifs and Recipes, but again no one ever took them so yeah lol

Had he just up and left I wouldn't have minded. After all, people come and go from guilds all the time and guild loyalty isn't entirely treated seriously in a game where you can join 5 different guilds. Sure I am big on guild loyalty, but I don't expect others to be in this game.

Talking of guilds has anyone got a social pve orientated guild on PS4 EU that I may join?...As of when the servers come back online.

This sort of thing has been reported so often that I'm amazed that there are still guilds that let it happen. I respect GMs like the OP who want to place their trust in human nature, but there really isn't a whole lot of room for trust on the internet - sad tho' that is.
