Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

We have over 30 craftable motifs and yet

we are unable to change to item appearances, forcing people to choose between stats ( dropable sets ), fashion and
forcing the former group into only a small amounts of costumes with a horrible dye system.

Weapon dyes would be nice too before you add the next motifs and costumes.

Weapon dyes I doubt will ever be a thing and I honestly dont want to see this being implented into the game.Imagine players running around tamriel with their pink swords and yellow staffs it would be irritating, however the devs could make something like a weapon material, for example approach a working bench and you could change the material of your staff for instance(metallic, wood, matte, rusty)and so on

There are already pink weapons and people can dye their armours pink.
Also red swords aren't excalty much better.

You can get very decent stats with crafted sets, more than enough for most activities in game. I guess I am one of those people that cares about how his character looks, so tend to try and avoid using dropped pieces unless they just happen to have a crafted style that fits in with what I am wearing.

I have to say it, but even in game, first impressions are everything. People can be very judgemental JUST by how your character looks, and if they see people with strange outfits or outlandish colours, most will decide they are immature trolls right from the get go. Same goes for people running around naked.

What I want to know is, why isnt there more chainmail in game? I have gone over all the craftable styles, and there is precisely 3 styles that have 1 piece of chainmail in them. (low level redguard heavy chest, high level Orc heavy chest, high level Nord medium legs)

I would love if u could have one Stat slow and one visual slot for each armor part.
So you could make Monster set parts look like Order of the Hour and so on.

I care about the look of my character as well, so i stick with crafted sets. My Hundings, Gladiators, and Agility sets give me enough stats to be decent across the board.

Though i would very much appreciate if motifs were easier to acquire...
